You cannot hide your islamophobia and xenophobia behind Hamas. The frequent use of "Palestinians are oppressed by Hamas" only serves to divert the attention away from the full on genocide happening BY Israel.
What's been happening is Israel throwing sewage water on Palestinian homes to force them out. What's been happening is Israel calling apartments to tell them "Hello, this is the Israeli military. We need to bomb your home."
What's been happening is churches, hospitals, refuge centers getting bombed. There is no where to go.
What's happening is the UN Assembly calling for a ceasefire winning 120-14 votes. But assembly resolutions are not legally binding like security councils are. So Israel completely disregarded that "despicable call". They're "expanding operations" and launching a ground invasion.
What's happening is that Israel shut down connection inside Gaza since Friday. The skies have been lit up the entire night by intense airstrikes and nobody can call medics or ambulances. Nobody knows what's happening.
The world asks for a ceasefire and Israel removes connection to stop the world from knowing the truth.
There are some accounts left on Instagram with Wi-Fi because they use Turkish SIM cards. Here's two I follow.

There's no electricity. Hospitals don't have fuel. Children don't have bread. Wounds and pseudomonas infections are being treated with vinegar. The death count has reached more than seven thousand.
THIS IS TERRORISM

one of my favorite things is how hard Glenn always laughs, with his full body and volume out of control, and in my mind it ties really well with how Dennis feels things so much deeper than others. It's nice to think that laughter is also smth that would be amplified for him and not just angst, u know?

Did the almond theory reach tumblr yet?
I'm believing this with my entire soul, there was too much emphasis on the drink order, there was a music switch when The Metatron walks away with Aziraphale and looks at Crowley, there was manipulation felt for the entire interaction.
With the almond syrup restoring Aziraphale's purity, it would explain why he's so adamant for his friend to end up in Heaven again, an establishment he knows Crowley despises. It would explain why he's willing to give up his bookstore and human delicacies because "nothing lasts forever" while we all know how much he treasures his books and materialistic joys. It would perfectly tie back to the flashback introducing us to Aziraphale's gluttony. It would explain why he forgives Crowley for the kiss, forgives him for not seeing the Greater Good of helping people with Heaven and for preferring such human acts.
They would be fucking insane in something together

Also this scene from the book, knowing Dennis runs and using it against him. Putting words in his mouth and cornering him.
not a dennis apologist but a ~dennis defender~ when i see everyone somehow missing the fact that mac is literally fucking stated to be the one pulling the strings from the shadows and has been for years while dennis, naïve, known idiot and chronic underestimater of his friends, is the one being played.
As per my username, my favorite Community line ever is in the finale when Jeff says "I'm sort of a hero that way" because it's slightly cocky and perfectly Jeff; it's so simple yet SO impactful and ties the entire show so beautifully.
Jeff starts his life as a narcissist, thinking he's cool and powerful cuz he can fool the juridical system by faking his degree and getting away with it. It's what he tells his father about himself after decades of not seeing him because that's what Jeff deems to be the prideful accomplishment of his life.
But after 6 seasons, Jeff learns that being a hero is simply living everyday. It doesn't take big achievements, he doesn't need to dazzle anybody to feel seen. He doesn't need to write "You're special" on his bathroom mirror and stare at it until he believes it.
He's simply a hero for letting people into his life and learning how to love others. How to love himself. How to continue pushing forward in life.
And it's so simple. Because like Jeff said once, the truth isn't life-shattering. It's painfully obvious.
It's simply living life. And that makes his entire story so deeply relatable.
Because in the end, we're all like Greendale students. Sucky people working on ourselves to be less sucky.
Friends can't carry you, they are there to pick you up and support you but you need to walk your own path. This takes time and it never gets perfect, never gets predictable. But we can still be okay. Because we’re all afraid of the same thing. So none of us is ever actually alone.
Jeff realises that he does indeed have tools to face anything the future throws at him. It's a newly found confidence he can now use as his life ring buoy. He can slowly learn to trust himself and his own capacities again. Not be dependent on others.
Jeff is a hero for having gained those tools. For having worked so hard on himself.
And we're heroes for that too.
Suggestive fanart of Jeff/Abed ahead. Just a double precaution
