Why the falcon? Record wise there are better fighter jets namely the eagle.

Lol. I know there are technically better fighters in the world. After I was adopted I went from living on the streets to living on air bases in different parts of Asia. I went from living in fear every day of my life- to living in the magical world known as the Air Force lol. Every base we lived on had an F-16 unit (and usually A-10) so they became this comfort thing for me.I have this uncanny knack of making people walk out of my life but that dang jet was always there. Through friends pcsing and leaving, people walking out, divorces in my “new” family, deaths, and dad being deployed or on TDY- the only thing that never left was my F-16. I’ve never wanted to be a pilot- but something about that jet is just engrained into my DNA and it’s always felt like home. I know it makes me “odd” but to me it will always be the greatest fighter on the planet and always be “home”.

It's just the resetting of the universe. Everything collapses into the center, causing the big bang snd everythong resets. Chill out, we'll all be back in another trillion or so years.

Technician Accidentally Sets off an F-16 Cannon, Blows Up Another F-16

This sounds like something straight out of a goofy military comedy, but I assure you this is real: a Belgian technician accidentally set of the cannon of a military plane during maintenance, which shot another plane. That plane blew up, damaging the initial plane in the process. Talk about a bad day.

@lockheed-martini They gave it that designation to get fighter pilots interested in flying it (And it worked). The plane, although a bomber, handled like a fighter as well
