Dear friends and compassionate supporters,
This is Eman Zaqout, from Occupied Gaza, Palestine. I am a Biotechnologist ,π©Έπ and scientific researcher contacting you at a really desperate moment.
I am seeking your assistance to raise funds for saving our lives, facing the starvation in Gaza and help me achieve my doctoral degree dream after being awarded OWSD PhD Fellowship for inspirational women.ππ©βπ
Just like any motivated and loving life woman, and for years, I poured my heart and soul into my work at Al-Shifa Hospital and Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital, as Biotechnology Specialist serving cancer patients with compassion and skill.πͺπ€

I also gave medical lectures to students at different universities and training centers in Gazaπβ
As a result of my outstanding grades in my study and the excellent performance in my job, I have been a holder of different scholarship and I am active participant in many research visits and scientific missions. π©βπ¬The last scholarship as at McGill University in Canada three months ago before the starting of the genocide in Gaza.π₯
My life changed dramatically when Israeli military launched a sweeping war against Gaza. My home and our neighborhood in the North have been destroyed along with our belongings and precious memories early in this crisis.ππ
My job and my husband's job are gone. Israeli military forced us to evacuate from the north Gaza to the south where they claimed it would be the safe zone but it is not at all. Our sweet home and neighborhood have been destroyed.
Forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on our backs, today, we find ourselves sheltering in a displacement camp lacking access to sanitation, medical supplies, food and drinkable water.Β I will not talk a lot about the dire and unbearable life we have to go through, as no word can express it fairlyπ
The good news in the midst of this tragedy, that I am one of the 22 women from the developing world who have been awarded OWSD- PhD fellowship to pursue my PhD study in Malaysiaππͺ. But now I am stuck in Gaza unable to achieve my dream because Israeli army has occupied and closed all the border crossings ππ
Meet 22 fellows awarded OWSD PhD fellowship
This genocide has been more than a year of hell and horror. We have reached a point where there is no hope left for us here in Gaza, where we are unfortunately just waiting for our turn to die.
I refuse to succumb to despair, holding on to the belief that brighter days lie ahead.
With your kindness and generosityπ₯Ί, I hope to survive the genocide and reclaim the path to achieving my doctorate ππ©Έ
Your compassionate aid would mean the world to me and my family.π₯Ίπβ€π΅πΈβ

My name is Osama Basil, a web developer from Gaza. Over the past 10 months, Iβve witnessed the devastation of war firsthand. My office, where I devoted myself to my work, was destroyed, along with my source of income and future aspirations. The situation in Gaza grows more difficult each day, with destruction becoming a constant part of our reality. We've lost friends, colleagues, and loved ones, leaving our community deeply scarred. But I refuse to surrender. Despite the displacement and loss, I am committed to rebuilding my career and life. The war took my job, dreams of marriage, and a chance to pursue a masterβs degree in programming and web design. After fleeing to Rafah with my family, Iβve been living in a tent for months, grappling with unstable access to electricity

Our first victory against trump!
Time to start celebrating ALL the small wins, because EVERY win means a lot, and every win helps us fight for the next one!
I am Jalal from Gaza π΅πΈ My wife, my child and I lived a wonderful and exciting life. We wore the most beautiful clothes, Muhammad wore the most beautiful clothes, we played with the most beautiful toys and went to the most beautiful restaurants π in our small city
. After two years of a wonderful life with my wife and my child π§βπΌ Muhammad, I received good news about the arrival of a new baby. He was happy and joyful with my new baby and we prepared clothes and toys for him to welcome our new baby. Until this greedy, deadly war came on October 7 and destroyed our house π‘ that I suffered to build and we were displaced several times from one place to another until we were forced to move to the southern Gaza Strip. From here, a new story began in the tents and streets where we slept and which were filled with rats. A month and a half after the war, on 11/23/2023, my wife went to Al-Awda Hospital in the midst of the heavy shelling to give birth to our new baby.
In the hospital, my wife left an hour after giving birth due to the intense pressure in the hospital. It was midnight when I left in extreme fear and terror. I was likely not to see my newborn and my wife due to the heavy bombing that night. Thank God, my wife came with my little boy who did not know that he was going to a canvas tent βΊ on the street instead of the warm, refreshing house where his brother Mohammed lived before him. The weather was very cold β for my newborn whose body could not bear the hardships of this life.
There were no clothes for my newborn until charitable people donated clothes for him to wear and bought used clothes because new clothes are expensive to protect him from the extreme cold. After 5 months, the summer month came, which began a new story with my child, as my newborn was suffering from convulsions due to the extreme high temperature in the tents. Please help me get out of this bombing and destruction, so I hope to help rebuild what was destroyed to protect my family and children from this war. Please help us. I trust you, our people, that you will not return me broken-hearted. Thank you.

Please bring us back to life without war, destruction, genocide or killing because this is what fills our memories after we forget what a life full of hope is like βΌοΈ
I'm Ashraf from the war-torn Gaza. I've lived an entire life under siege in Gaza, facing relentless military actions and life-threatening conditions daily. In October 2023, the conflict escalated drastically, devastating my newly built house, my neighborhood,my workplace, and jeopardizing the lives of my family.
My wife, Ghadeer @ghadeerarqan , and I live in Gaza with our baby son Yamen. My wife gave birth to Yamen during the war, and it is all he has ever known. Yamen has spent the tenth months of his young life without a stable home, surviving a genocide.
I mourn the loss of our safe haven, but more urgently, I need to secure a future for my family away from the constant threat of bombings that have become our grim reality.
Meet Yamane, our precious tenth-months-old. Who was born during this war, We aspire to provide him with opportunities that surpass our own experiences, fostering a future filled with joy and prosperity.
This campaign is a call to arms for all who believe in the transformative power of community support. By contributing, you're not just donating; you're actively shaping Yamane's world, ensuring his journey is filled with the promise and potential every child deserves. Join us in making a profound impact on his life
Yamen... he's only a baby. He doesn't understand the fear that grips us, the darkness that engulfs our lives. He just smiles, his eyes bright with innocent wonder, oblivious to the terror that surrounds him. He reaches for me with tiny hands, his laughter a fragile melody in this symphony of destruction. π
Your generosity is a beacon of hope for my family, especially for my little baby boy YamanπΆπ©·, who deserves a future free from fear and filled with opportunity.
Thank you for standing with us during this incredibly challenging time. Your support means the world to us, πΊπ©·πΏπ
But we still need your help to reach our goal. Please continue to share our campaign and consider contributing if you can. Together, we can create a brighter future for Yamane and all children affected by this conflict.
