This... is part of why I get so uncomfortable sometimes. I have always tried, painfully so, to be a positive person. But, I am finding it harder and harder with time to be... positive. Why? The poor behavior that can be found close, out and about, and pretty much EVERYWHERE online, that's why. I mean seriously, the fact that signs like this are even needed is a display of the kind of behavior that makes it hard some days to brush it off and smile. I know it has become the norm to allow your electronics to think for you but dang folks... seriously? From where I'm sitting, we're all doomed but, I still do try... to be a positive person and at least not abundantly feed the ugly, nasty, YUCK that seems to be EVERYWHERE at this point. -sigh-- Okay, I'm done now.
It has come to my attention that I have not yet really played with reflections in photography. It seems to be such a popular thing and yet, I dig and find... I don't really have any of that sort of thing. Reflections in calm lakes, mirror and glass sorts of reflections... hmmm. I'm not feeling great today so maybe I'll see about trying some of that with some small items.
I have a love for the beauty, and madness, of thinking.
Just a quick reminder that people can say just about anything, that doesn't mean it's correct. Videos and photos are edited all the time. News is HEAVILY controlled so as to only share what the company wants you to "know". Even if it's popular, it might not be safe, real, or a general good idea. Rumors spread faster than you can imagine and what you hear, might not even be the rumor that was actually started, let alone any bit of truth. And remember... everyone sees things differently and there's usually a LOT more to every story.
Print this out for a free frosty at your local gas station. Expires now.
Okay so, as I pay more attention I realize that humans seem to like seeing their food online. While I'm not entirely sure how many enjoy viewing the food of others I figured I would go ahead and play along so... here ya go. The current meal includes eggs, potato, tomato, carrot, celery, and a sausage, with a light dusting of a salt/pepper/garlic seasoning blend, cooked with a little bit of palm oil in a frying pan. Ooooh. Aaaaah. Yes, it was very much tasty. Yes, this is a common cooking style for me. And no, I will not be sad if I don't get paycheck level likes on my food photo. Okay, I'm done. Enjoy.
Now THAT looks like a baseball game I would pay to watch but it is nice to know I can watch it on YouTube. Thank you "60 Minutes" for introducing me to it.
Today I learned that you can smell a mint plant by basically giving it a grab n stroke. I also learned what one version of a wormwood plant looks like and that Modelo Negra is at least acceptable as long as ya don't let it sit too long. To be fair though, I'm not really a beer person so all of them struggle to impress me completely. I also learned that the mint plant I chose SHOULD help eliminate the regrowth of some of the danger plants in the one section of my yard. This, was VERY pleasing information. I also learned that chicken and waffles, as goofy as it sounds, can be an enjoyable combination. Yes, today... was very educational. lol
While I do understand the message they are trying to express, I could not help but giggle as my toddler brain went.... since when did being in a wheelchair become a gender??
And yes, I am aware of how bothered some humans are by signs like this but, because of that very mentality, I appreciate that more places are offering... safe spaces... to perform bodily functions. Bad human behavior comes in all types of packages. Making someone feel unsafe, or unwelcome simply because of their personal (not dangerous to anyone else) lifestyle decisions is not a very nice thing so yes... I fully support spaces like this and the businesses that have them.
I am beginning to realize that I appreciate those who value true craftsmanship. Modern life is full of products and services but the true art of creating something, or doing something with a genuine passion is usually lost behind the desire for profit and ease. Items, relationships, general interactions... the true attention to detail, effort for quality, and non profit desire to build something that will serve the receiver well is so hard to find. For me, it's not so much about the prize, but rather the process of creating that prize. Whether it's a friendship, a deeper relationship, a product, a service of some sort, it should be more about what you are creating than how easily you can make a certain profit. Shallow human connections and poorly made products have definitely helped me see the real value in craftsmanship, and those who truly seek it. hah Well there's this round of food for thought. Laters!
I can look at pictures online of bugs, insects, creepy crawlies, and the like.. and be completely mesmerized by the beauty and capabilities. I will also say though that, when I do something in my home and find something crawling ... my first and only panic attack thought line is DIE DIE DIE! Ants are on the top of that list for me. They come in, they go everywhere, and it never feels like they are gone for good. I understand all of the ... they serve a purpose, it's more there territory than ours, blah blah blah... but when they enter my house and are spotted.... I simply can not help the desire to burn the house down and run. They MUST DIE. hahahahha I know I am not alone. LOL
A bit older, more "tired", definitely more worn, but still trying.
