tony falling asleep on the plane back from afghanistan, laying prone on Rhodes’s chest in order to avoid exposing his arc reactor, and because he trusts rhodey’s judgement of when it’s safe to sleep (and trusts rhodey to wake him if needed).
People trying to get rhodey to do paperwork or give official accounts of what happened. and he just waves them off bc tony is finally asleep on his chest.
rhodey tells people he’s crying because of the smoke fumes on tony’s clothes. he’s lying.
A very clearly pissed off Tony
glances at Steve
his expression slightly softens
Is this a stretch? Possibly.
Do I care? NOPE!

Help me. I am drowning deep within myself. Tell me I am not alone. [x]

“Nobody can save you but yourself—and you’re worth saving. It’s a war not easily won, but if anything is worth winning—this is it.”

"I'm sorry. I'm supposed to be strong." She buried her face in her hands, hoping to hide the tears on her face.
"You are strong. You're okay to keep going. Take all the time you need."
And all without and within is dismal, cold, and dark. [insp]

one important thing that Must be understood about interpersonal relationships is that you have to stop interacting with people who love you like they’re one slip-up away from leaving you. you have to trust that the ppl you love mean what they say. you have to believe that when they say “this hurt my feelings,” that they’re also saying, “can you please love me this other way next time?” and you have to wrap your head around the fact that even if you don’t understand Why someone loves you, you can accept that that they do. true, honest, & open love does not function like hp in a video game !!!!!!
My latest New Scientist cartoon.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but if the phrase "self care" doesn't resonate with you, try calling it "system maintenance" and see if that clicks.
Sherlock: Liam, you’re offered 500,000 dollars, but, if you accept it, the person you hate the most in the world gets 1,000,000 dollars. Would you take it? Liam: Of course! I mean, why wouldn’t I want 1,500,000 dollars? Sherlock: ... Liam, no.
You see the vision, right
i have loved you. i have had to deal with that
