The parallels and differences between how Dutch talks about Annabelle and how Hosea talks about Bessie is so so very important to me. The only thing we really know about Annabelle is her death and how it affected Dutch. How it “fuels” Dutches hatred towards colm. ( though I think he’s really just using her death a front) we don’t know anything else about her. But Dutch “loved” her and the only thing we hear is of her death and how it affects DUTCH. We don’t hear about how she afffeted anyone else. What she was like.
Hosea in comparison speaks of Bessie in a mournful, bittersweet yet beautiful way. We SEE how Bessie’s death affected Hosea, but we never get told how she died. That is never once brought up. But Hosea DOES tell us many stories of how he and her wanted to get out, how they traveled, how she loved him regardless of the fact he was an outlaw. Hosea doesn’t need to directly tell us he loved Bessie bc it pours out of his soul with every breath he speaks of her. Dutch NEEDS to mention that he loved Annabelle because the only thing he ever talks about is her death and how it’s an excuse to continue his violent behavior.
they can never remake tombstone (1993) because nobody can ever serve as much cunt as val kilmer did while playing doc holliday
There’s a strange thing about memories—sometimes, they feel like the only thing we have left. I close my eyes, and I can still see my family sitting around the dinner table, laughing at a joke my uncle made. I can still hear my mother calling me to come inside before it gets too late. I can still feel the warm sun on my face as I walked home from school, thinking about my next big dream.
Now, those moments feel like they belong to another life. The streets aren’t the same. The people aren’t the same. And I—I don’t know if I’m the same either. But I hold onto those memories so tightly because they remind me of who I am, of the love I’ve known, of the warmth that still exists somewhere in this world.
If you’re reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family. Send a message to an old friend. Step outside and take a deep breath of fresh air. 🌿 These are the moments that matter. These are the things that make life beautiful.
No matter where life takes me, I’ll never stop cherishing the love that shaped me. And I hope, wherever you are, you never stop appreciating the love around you too. 💙
"I got that dog in me" yes, and that dog will come back to you each time you send it away, either bruised and battered, dripping and pouring from any orifice or hypervigilance running through their system, dissecting your every emotional or physical change. that dog will ensure a version of itself that won't allow you to find fault. no chance to find another reason to send it away, leaving it alone, cold and devoid of warm connection.

Pale White Horse
This is the kind of weather that was going on in Colter.
The Raven cycle from an outsiders perspective must be hilarious. How did none of them get sent to a ward. Adam is just Adam ( a creepy little fucker) and the image of someone watching gangsey blast around in a shitty old bright orange Camaro, blasting some ungodly song ( ronan) and turning over stones and things must be hilarious to watch. Gansey randomly talking about welsh kings and people looking and going oh yeah that guys got some tism.
I can’t stop laughing about this
