Hey y'all, I'd appreciate anyone from the UK signing this petition to allow trans/nonbinary kids to stay closeted from their parents if they're out at school. It's obviously very important that children be able to keep potentially dangerous information about their identity away from their parents, and explore it safely in a school environment.
If it reaches 10k votes the government must respond, and 100k means they need to debate it, but any votes are good for raising awareness and profile.
If you're not from the UK please share this so others see it
please rb to help me find my old mutualssssššš
This act would make constitutional amendments to ensure that even sitting presidents are held liable for their actions. That NOBODY is above the law.
Their goal is 150k messages sent and at the time of writing this they're about 2.1k off from that goal!
ACLU gives you a prefilled message that you can edit to send to make the process easier, and will send it out for you.
This only takes a few minutes!
via NYPost: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to launch a ābig fāking operationā across sanctuary cities ā including Chicago and New York ā immediately after President-elect Donald Trumpās inauguration, multiple sources told The Post.
Starting Jan. 21, multi-day āground operationsā will be launched across cities that have served as safe havens for migrants because the local authorities do not cooperate with the federal government when it comes to immigration issues, sources said.
The Campaign for Southern Equality, in partnership with state and local organizations, is providing rapid response support to the families of youth who are impacted by anti-transgender healthcare bans that are passing across the South. We are providing grants, navigation support, and resources to impacted families as they ensure their children can access the care they need and deserve. We are currently providing support to impacted families in Mississippi, Tennessee and South Carolina, and we are preparing to work in other states.
Please join us by donating.
We are honored to work on this project in partnership with The TRANS Program, Mississippi Rising, Inclusion TN, and OUT Memphis.

hey guys. my nameās chris. i was born christina. from the time I was five years old, I knew I was trans. and I spent my high school years being picked on for being too boyish. Art was my escape. Through art, I could draw my body exactly how I wanted it to look.
This year I turned 18, and finally told my mom and dad Iām trans. I wanted to do it before Christmas, so I could spend my first Christmas out of hiding. I knew my parents would be upset, but I didnāt expect them to kick me out.
Sadly, they turned on me. they said they loved me, but that iād be a bad influence on my five-year-old brother. a big part of me is relieved that Iāll be out of the house, but the other part of me is freaking the fuck out. iām jobless and broke. i haveĀ three more weeksĀ before I have to pay rent and groceries all on my own. Iāll be looking for a job, but in the meantime I'mĀ desperateĀ to have the security of a monthās rent.
Please PLEASE help me. if you can even give $5 ⦠it will help so much.Ā

Me and my fiance are both Queer adults living with my family in Panaca, NV and we need to move somewhere else.Ā
I am Agender Transmasc and Gay Leaning. My fiance is a Trans man, Pansexual, and Indigenous. We are both Disabled- (I have Autism, Depression, Anxiety, DID) (He has Autism, OCD, DID, Depression, Anxiety, and is also physically disabled (needs a cane or crutches, wrist and ankle braces, and medical lotion) Panaca is 5 minutes away from a self promoted ācorrection facilityā and is full of people who genuinely want to send queers to them. Genuinely want queers, poc, disabled people to not have rights. Ā We are NOT safe living here. We are in danger every day. We do not want to end up dead in the streets. We have friends in Oregon and plan on moving into an apartment with them, we would have people we trust around us and would be in a safer place for us. Me and my fiance can be ourselves, live our own lives. The sooner we can get the money, the sooner we can move to somewhere safer for us. The money would cover a U-hual, Two months of rent, and any food and bills while we search for jobs. I will forever be grateful. Any amount helps us! Thank you to everyone who donates!
Hey! I, (PTSD trans man), was out with my friend last night celebrating her, (autistic black woman), birthday when her car got towed. All three of us pooled all our money together to get it out since she had work in the morning, but that means I have no rent money or gas money until Thursday when she hopefully gets paid enough to pay me back. Please consider sending her a dollar or two so she can pay me and our other friend, (DID black bi gender fluid), back so I don't miss my rent. It was around $180 to get her car out.
