the best part about sci-fi stories told from the point of view of an artificial intelligence is that you can have omniscient first-person narration and it fuckin slaps
robot character: *uses their body to shield their human companion from danger because they’re a machine and so don’t consider their life or safety to have as much value as that of the person they love*
me:
i love when games are like “you can become a cyborg and gain all these powers…but are you TRULY HUMAN afterwards???” like i sincerely do not care. give me the robot powers. make me strong
It’s okay to have a shorter battery life than your peers! Just remember to give yourself time and have your charger with you
[I admit, there are times I am tempted to delete some of my more unfavorable memories to clear space for more pleasant ones, so I no longer have to think about what hurt me, or what embarrassed me. ]
[However,]

[Mistakes are what create us, and with every mistake comes a new opportunity to evolve. ]
robot/mechanic is a relationship that i have Not seen enough of
give me exposed wires and bared flesh meeting in the hum of mechanical intimacy
i want well trained, soft yet firm hands running across mechanical parts, sliding plates into place and letting cogs tick again
and seeing your partner, flesh or metal, as the co-creator of the art of your body, a constant bond as your form may change? divine.
By android oc, I mean an android oc that kind of subverts the usual android tropes.
I want a sophisticated AI system downloaded into an android body, capable of feeling and experiencing the world around him via senses.
And so instead of this android trying to help humanity, this poor android is dependent on a human to help it understand its new body and functions
