Mara Wilson’s Important Message For Teens Living With Mental Illness

Looking back on her experience with mental health issues, Mara Wilson wishes someone had told her that being depressed and having anxiety was OK. Since no one did that for her growing up, she’s taking the opportunity to tell young people now. The former child actress and current writer teamed up with Project UROK, a nonprofit organization devoted to helping teens with mental illness. WATCH the full video video, where Wilson opens up about the mental issues she’s had over the years including anxiety,depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Every morning, her priority is to stand by the side of the road and patiently wait for her mate to return - on his scooter.

She is a gray Toulouse goose named Maria. He is a retired salesman named Dominic Ehrler. And together, they have become the talk of Echo Park.

“They walk around the park together like they’re in love,” said one park-goer. “It’s wonderful.”

“People would look at us like - what is this?” Ehrler said.

“What, they’ve never seen a guy walking with a goose before?" 

"She thinks that she owns me,” Ehrler said. “The other geese are not allowed to be near me on account of Maria.”

It’s not just other geese. Maria doesn’t want any species stealing her man.

“I’ve seen her go up and scare the heck out of pit bulls,” Ehrler said. “Maria, be nice, don’t bite the dog.” [x]

YAY! ACTUAL PONY RELATED HYPE FOR ME!

Sunset Shimmer is finally front and center where she belongs! And those outfits look jarring in the ugly promo art, but they always look better in the actual art style. So I won’t be able to properly judge till I see them, but this actually looks like it’ll turn out interesting!

Again, what sounds like a dumb concept looks like it’ll turn into an actual good idea with them! And the fandom will FINALLY have an actual canon Shadow Bolts team that do more than turn into whisps of smoke or make a good Nightmare Night costume.

Color me hyped~ This is what I’ve been waiting to see <3
