people who don’t like cassandra clare’s stuff bc they’ve only read the mortal instruments are missing out? like, what about jem carstairs (aka the world’s first verified human cinnamon roll)? what about sarcastic legend emma carstairs? what about canonically autistic ty blackthorn who deserves all the hugs in the world? what about enthusiastic bean lucie herondale and kit “phd in angst” rook/herondale/whatever you want to call him and ANNA LIGHTWOOD AND MATTHEW FAIRCHILD (aka THE genderqueer-bi solidarity everyone needs in their lives)? what about the lgbt and racial representation and all the deep shit about society you see in the dark artifices? what about the further developed plots, the improved writing, the sass? what about the other ships like kitty and herongraystairs and, heck, even the extra malec content? what about the potential tlh and twp have? there is so so SO much more cassandra clare can offer us and it makes me sad that people are automatically passing on such good stuff just bc they didn’t like the first series :/

I honestly live for an ash & kit friendship. Them talking bragging about their Blackthorn s/o's to each other, them being badass part faerie warriors together, them talking about deep emotional shit at 2am when they're at their lowest, kit introducing ash to all the mundane stuff he grew up with, ash teaching kit some fancy faerie fighting/languages/etc, like honestly if they aren't parabatai I'll live but FOR GOODNESS SAKES LET THEM BE BFFS PLEASE
