Fallout - Deathclaw Tackle by ~Edge-Works
Not a big fan of what melatonin has been doing to my dreams lately.
WHAT LOW ACTIVITY & SLOW REPLY MEANS:
it means i want to be here, i really do
it means that i have, whether i like it or not, more important things to do than roleplay at the moment
it means that replies are going to sit for a moment
WHAT IT DOESN’T MEAN:
that i care any less
that i don’t want to talk / plot with you
that you aren’t allowed to IM me or ask for my disco
Sometimes Tumblr has to take a back burner, and that’s fine! Roleplay will still be here when we get back. So take that day to yourself. Don’t worry about drafts. Don’t worry about how “slow” you are being. Everything is okay!
He observed this oddity before him from beneath his hood. He'd been many places in the galaxy, but this... this he did not know quite what to make of other than the fact that it was something alien to him. But that was besides the point. He had come here for more important matters. "My designation is C.A.Z." Brushing his rain dotted hood back he folded his hands together in front of himself. "I detected an anomaly and feared someone had landed so I came to warn your Captain that this is a quarantined planet. An illness has spread amongst the people here."
@the-replicated-man liked this post for a Doctor Who Starter!
She sense's an uninvited guest. Someone is trespassing.
The hologram flickers to life taking the form of a female human with long dark hair and purple eyes. It seems she can't quite get the form right. Did humans even have purple eyes? Lolita paid no mind to it because her pilot usually didn't bother with details like that. He was too busy visiting planets and trying to make them bend to his will.
Just as she is about to warn them, her head tilts. There is something strange about this trespasser. However, it reminds her of something similar...something she's seen before. "You are no life form. Wires...machine...do you know you are trespassing? Security features have been activated. State your name and intentions."
"There is an alternative." He didn't mention it before, because it was not within his parameters to fulfill. "The ship we were on before. It only needed a fresh MicroCell." It could help her to escape from both the doctor and the UC, greatly improving her odds. The problem was the specimen that had been unleashed on this planet. Glancing at the wall he knew that he could hack into the system and learn about the creatures, but she didn't have clearance for that. "I hadn't mentioned it before, because I'm unable to help you and the likeliness of your survival without help is only a 4.8 out of a hundred."

"Evil? Would that be because human morals have aesthetics?" He had always found human dilemma to be quite amusing. It was quite simple to him. But then what did he know? Someone had programmed him to be simple. He never quite knew if his thoughts were his own or if they belonged to someone else. "Very well, Captain. I can tend to your ship for you until you've decided what to do with me." It was a relief in its own way. His programming had him itching to get back to work. "Danger is of little consequence to me. I can always be repaired."
"I apologize for being an inconvenience, David." He folded his hands behind his back and regarded the security that had complained about him being a nuisance. "Yes, a UC scientist sent me here to aid the miners but I'm afraid I seem to have failed that directive." A shame as he had no intentions of causing trouble. He had been sent here to aid the miners not to get in their way. Although... it was entirely possible the UC was cutting costs by using him in certain areas. "My own directive? My own directive..." It was a curious request and one that he had never really considered or been asked before. "I should like to help humanity, David. However, I may, but I'm afraid I may be scrapped for failing my previous directive."
"Dinnae ken and I'm not exactly keen to find out." He knew what a siren sounded like and that unfortunately wasn't one. But maybe they were overreacting? Maybe it was something harmless. Sounded bigger than it was. It was better to be cautious though he supposed, considering they hadn't the faintest clue what was happening or where everyone else had gone. It had to take a lot for the guns to go silent. "No." It wasn't too far, just up ahead and thankfully they managed to arrive without incident. Didn't look like anyone had survived the crash either... they wouldn't have company inside. For better or for worse.

"I wasn't aware that humans considered questions to be 'sentimental'." He truly failed to understand the human thought process sometimes. He settled in so that he might be able to stitch himself back up to the best of his ability. Just because she did not react badly didn't mean the others of her kind would. "To find a new directive." Although he wasn't sure he would be welcomed so to speak. They must try to scrap him for his technology in hopes that they could use it against the UC.
