What makes Jung Hwan so special is that he is very soft and warm-hearted, but doesn't really take enough credit for it.
This is highlighted in many scenes especially the one where he and his brother have heart-to-heart talk, and it is shown that all the childhood dreams of Jung Hwan (a football player, a basketball player and even a fighter pilot) were actually the wishes of his brother who couldn't fulfill them.
It tore my heart into pieces and my eyes were filled with tears, because the people who are silently kind and loving to others without being recognized are truly special.
No matter how many times I rewatch this show, my love for every character keeps only increasing. And Kim Jung Hwan will always always be cherished by me ♥️.
Hit me up
Hey Guys! I am looking for new mutuals who like MCU, XMen, Harry Potter, Maze Runner and Hunger Games. Please reblog and drop me a message as I need friends ;)
if you take out all the murder, the ending of assassination classroom is reflected in any student-teacher bond. no matter how close they become, there is always a ticking clock on the relationship. you only get one year with that teacher, with that class. the end of the year may as well be the end of the world. everything the students learn brings them closer to the point when they can leave the teacher behind. after graduation, the students will move on to their futures, armed with all the knowledge they've gained, but the teacher can't come with them.
there's a reason every episode's title has the word "time" in it. because the whole show is about the time class e gets to spend together, and the titles are a constant reminder that that time is limited.
the assassination of koro-sensei is class e's graduation. from that moment forward, the teacher, the class, and middle school itself, are no longer a part of their lives. it would seem the message is that nothing lasts forever. the sakura blossoms always fall, children always grow up, and the fun times always end.
this would make a good jason todd x reader fic
super late but here’s a very specific ship dynamic i’ve been obssessed with recently
it's always so fascinating and heartbreaking when a character in a story is simultaneously idolized and abused. a chosen prophet destined for martyrdom. a child prodigy forced to grow up too fast. a powerful warrior raised as nothing but a weapon. there's just something so uniquely messed up about singing someone's praises whilst destroying them.
suddenly struck with thoughts about the devastating concept of Jason Todd
because he was good. because he had a bleeding heart despite every reason not to. he loved school and was good at it. he was the first to be adopted, with little pretense of guardianship. he did everything he could to be a perfect Robin and live up to an impossible ideal. he only ever wanted Bruce and Dick to like him.
because he met Bruce in the same place and on the same day that Bruce's parents died--the single defining moment of Batman's existence. and he made Batman laugh. he hit the Dark Knight, Terror of Gotham, with a tire iron. he wasn't afraid of the man who turned fear into a weapon.
because he couldn't save his mother from herself, but he tried. because he was too good not to try and save the woman who gave him up. too good to play the Joker's game. the crowbar didn't kill him, the bomb did. he died knowing he wouldn't make it and tried anyway. he died a hero.
because other Robins have died, but none of them put an irrevocable tear in the mythos of Batman. because Jason Todd always dies, in every universe. he dies for the sins of his father. he was put to death by popular vote, sacrificed by the crowd. doomed by the narrative and doomed by the audience. the boy who only ever tried to prove he was good enough--wasn't good enough.
because he has every reason to be angry. because he didn't ask to be murdered, didn't ask to be brought back, and when he did everyone acted like he was better off dead. Bruce tried to kill him and nearly succeeded. he's blamed for his own death and blamed for his resurrection. he can never come home because the house is haunted by his own ghost.
because he's been the hero, the victim, and the villain. because his family and his writers and his universe don't know what to make of him. they don't know how to look his tragedy in the eye. and how can you?
it hurts to look at the hero who cannot be good enough, the victim who will only ever be angry, the villain who can sometimes be right. the audience hates to feel complicit and, in this exceptional case, they are.

Request: Could you write a story where Jason and his S/O live together but the S/O hasn’t met the batfamily (they don’t know about the S/O) and one day the batboys come over to discuss something with Jason but he’s asleep and the S/O is up and Jason wakes up to all of them talking and having fun
Warnings: Implied smut, swearing
You’re happily laying in the bed with arms wrapped around you. You move his arms off of you and sit up, holding the sheets to you. As you sit there, you look at Jason’s face and think about what happened last night. Sitting in peace, you’re interrupted by knocks on the door. Grabbing a shirt and panties, you slip them on and make your way to the door.
There were three boys standing outside. One of them was a child, one an older teen, and the last an adult. You could only assume they were Jason’s brothers based on the descriptions. It was obvious that they had no idea who you were. You could see the confusion in their faces.
Tim (or who you assumed) peered around your shoulder to look in. he rubbed the back of his neck nervously and asked “Is this the right place?” Then Dick pulled him back and added, “He means is Jason here.” You moved to the side and allowed them to come inside.
You spoke up “Jason is sleeping right now, but if you want you can wait here.” They followed you into the living room and they took a seat. Dick looked around the room while Tim looked at his folded hands. Damian stared at you as you did to him. He kept the contact and questioned “Is there a logical reason why you’re answering Todd’s door?” Dick’s head whipped as he looked at the boy in shock.
You shook your head and laughed. You were amused. “It’s fine, I’m his girlfriend.”
“You’re his who?” and “Todd has a girlfriend?” was heard from the boys. No one could believe it. How was Jason was able to get a girlfriend? Their Jason. Damian did not believe it though. He shook his head and scoffed. “How much is he paying you? Has Todd kidnapped you?” Tim elbowed his brother and gave him a look. “No Jason is not keeping me hostage. We’ve been together for about a year now,” you said.
Dick was slightly hurt that he wasn’t told, but he knew that it wasn’t really his place to know. He wanted to get to know you, feeling like he’s missed out on so much already. They all did. Tim hesitantly asked, “So… do you know about Jason’s job?” You smiled and answered, “His job as Red Hood? Yeah I know.”
After that they all bombarded you with questions, trying to get to know you better. By the end Damian had surprisingly taken a huge liking to you. And he kind of saw you as a maybe sister figure. Dick had also learned the fact that you and Jason were close. He was happy his little brother found someone like you. Soon after all that time, Jason woke up to laughing in another room. He walked out, and was surprised to see his brothers and girlfriend on the couch. And the demon-spawn was sitting on his girlfriend’s lap. He just stood there and watched what was infront of him. You looked up to see your boyfriend in the doorway. “Jason,” you cheered. “I should’ve met your brothers sooner.” You walked to him and kissed his cheek.
Jason just stood there and didn’t say anything. You pulled away slightly. “Jay?” “Why the fuck is happening?” He questioned. He hopped this was just some weird dream. Dick stood up and made his way to Jason, pulling him into a noogie. “C’mon baby bird. You never told us you had a girlfriend.” Dick commented with a smile.
Your boyfriend just stood there taking things in. You were back on the couch with Damian in your lap. Tim laughing at a joke you told. Dick with his arm around him. He leaned forward to Jason and whispered, “She’s definitely a keeper baby bird.”
Jason smiled slightly and replied “I know.”
