As a Palestinian, this is the most painful, horrifying thing I had to witness. 63 days of bombing, killing a huge number of these men's families, you also abduct them and humiliate them while filming??? I've been asked to write a post by @abuadam86 because she is really worried about her disabled son Adam. Adam is only 10 years old and he suffers from quadriplegia, which is a type of paralysis that causes a complete and severe loss of motor function of all 4 limbs and the body from the neck down! He requires a wheelchair to get around. Imagine how horrifying it must be when there you need to escape from a bombing, but you are not able to move and need a wheelchair to get to places and the streets are full of rubble!

Adam requires special food and medication, which is scarce in Gaza, and on the rare occasion it is available, very expensive!! Due to a lack of medicine, Adam suffers from frequent muscle spams! As a result of his condition, Adam also has difficulty swallowing and digesting food. Due to the lack of the special food he needs, he has lost 15 kg of weight! Moreover, he is also suffering from respiratory illness due to the polluted environment he is in! And Adam is only 10 years old!

Adam also have 3 siblings: Menna (12), Maria (6), and baby Ezz (1). They are now living in a tent that is not equipped to shield them from the cold. They do not have winter clothes, and most of the clothes they have are lying under the rubble. These children, in particular Adam, are suffering so much, and that is in addition to the frequent bombings!

From Gaza to Europe: A Young Girl's Dream is Finally Coming True!

Before the genocidal war on Gaza, I was immersed in university life and enjoyed studying English literature at the Islamic University in Gaza (IUG), which was utterly destroyed by Isr*ael. They destroyed the place that helped me find my passion: performing on stage in English.

My family and I have been displaced multiple times and we ended up now in a tent that does not protect us from any bullets, shrapnel, or the cold and rain of winter. I had never thought I would have to live in such hellish conditions at the age of 20, an age at which I was expecting to be studying at university and enjoying the company of my friends like any other girls my age around the world!!!

Below is my letter of acceptance from Mary Immaculate College (MIC) in Ireland, the place where I am reclaiming and achieving my dreams.

Amid the pain, horrors of war and many near death experiences, luckily, I was awarded a scholarship to do a BA in English Language and Literature at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland. A glimmer of hope shone in my sky, happiness rushed strongly through my veins, and a voice within me roared: "A unique destiny awaits you, Sarah. Seize this opportunity, honor your people abroad, and use your talent to tell the world about Palestine and touch their hearts."
