Just going to leave this here
First of all, power move
Second, this means any poor person with a phone and the new Burger King app can literally get food for a penny just by going to McDonalds, which is probably a goddamn lifesaver if you’re regularly worried about where your next meal is coming from
This lasts until December 12, 2018
So, yeah. Save some cash and stay fed.

Hey y'all. Here's something for you.
Yesterday = the International Day of Solidarity with Antifascist Prisoners.
We're declaring today the International Day of Keeping Antifascists From Becoming Prisoners.
Since 2014, The International Anti-Fascist Defence Fundhas provided over $200,000USD in emergency legal support to more than 700 anti-fascists in 25 countries, keeping them out of prison by ensuring they have competent legal teams backing them when they need it.
But we can't do it without your help. Click here to help us keep antifascists free.
This is a portion of human history I’d be okay leaving behind, thank you.
No joke I was a manager at Hot Topic during peak Twilight craze and let me tell you it was ~ w y l d ~
Headquarters told us to stop putting size stickers or sensors on the new shirts that would come in, just put them out as fast as we could and literally people would rip piles from our arms!!!
like we had a midnight release “party” for ppl who preordered their copy of Twilight but like it got out of hand and 1200 ppl showed up. we had to assign someone to be security for the Edward cardboard cutout because ppl were biting it
@staff Come at me.
Everyone reblog this as much as possible over the next two weeks for good luck
My next book is The Internet Con: How to Seize the Means of Computation: it’s a Big Tech disassembly manual that explains how to disenshittify the web and bring back the old good internet. The hardcover comes from Verso on Sept 5, but the audiobook comes from me — because Amazon refuses to sell my audio:

Amazon owns Audible, the monopoly audiobook platform that controls >90% of the audio market. They require mandatory DRM for every book sold, locking those books forever to Amazon’s monopoly platform. If you break up with Amazon, you have to throw away your entire audiobook library.
That’s a hell of a lot of leverage to hand to any company, let alone a rapacious monopoly that ran a program targeting small publishers called “Project Gazelle,” where execs were ordered to attack indie publishers “the way a cheetah would pursue a sickly gazelle”:
