I guess I understand why, but honestly, I wish fans could be better at accepting that having multiple adaptations and interpretations of a story is okay, and good, and important. there are different mediums fo storytelling for a reason. a novel cannot be received or create the same feelings as a film, or a play, or manga, or animated series, or a cartoon, or a live action, or a miniseries, or a radio show. it's supposed to be different each time. it's supposed to create variation. I really wish we could creators space to be creative.
