Hope is the maker and the destroyer.
Hope, as we say it. Belief, faith, hoping everything gets alright. It makes and breaks a person.
Believing you'd be alright. Believing, one day you'd wake up and looknaround and see that their would be no grief and pain like it is now. There won't be dirty, dark alleys and poverty, there won't be people yelling at you, fighting, screaming at each other. There won't be death and grief around you. Sounds of people wailing, and crying, and screaming won't be heard anymore and that there'd be smiles around you . Believing that you'd be smiling one day, waking up with happiness and not with the urge to die everyday. Believing, hoping in the future. That one day, you'd not have to be tied in the shackles of the society and their norms. That you'd finally be free one day.
Believing that one day you'd finally live.
Hope is a wonderful thing. It saves a drowning person, a dying person who has given up on life. Hope makes a perso. fall in love even when he thought he'd had given up and stop believing in love and affection a long time ago.
Hope makes you believe you'd achieve all your dreams and wake up in a beautiful house, with a loving family. Happiness all around. Love, smiles, and joy in the air. That you'd have people who love you and care for you. They would not leave you like your parents. Abandoning and neglecting you, they won't do that. They'd hold onto you. Hoping that one day you'd have money. Great money so that you'd finally be free. Hope is good. It makes us feel alive. It makes us feel as if we're in an alternate reality where there is no pain, no grief and no tears. There is sunshine and happiness. Hope makes you believe in the unbelievable. Hope makes you believe in the non-existent reality. It makes you believe that this non-existent reality would exist one day. Right in front of your eyes. Hope makes you feel a little happy. and alive. and free.
Why should we read the Bible?
1. Know God's will (Ps 119:105)
2. Grow in faith (Rom 10:17)
3. Receive instruction (2 Tim 3:16)
4. Receive correction (2 Tim 3:16)
5. Find comfort (Rom 15:4)
6. Find encouragement (Rom 15:4)
7. Share it with others (1 Pet 3:15)
8. Equip ourselves (2 Tim 3:16–17)
9. Overcome temptation (Ps. 119:11)

my friend and i studied in our dorm's cafeteria together yesterday :].
Let's play titanic You'll be ocean And I'll go down on you
this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)
the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)
all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)
you can get a free digital copy of this poster here on my gumroad!
A healthy habit I wanna do more is just telling God: I love you. I praise you. You gave me life, you chose me to walk on this earth, to experience life, the gift of existing as myself, and that is crazy, that is gigantic, of all the billions and billions of possible humans to bring to life you made me. The number of people that could be created is infinite, yet here I am. Thank you. My existance is proof enough of yours.
The fact that I’m at my best when it comes to writing when I’m at my worst, I hate it but I love it.
In the hush of winter’s embrace
she stood on a terrace
both bitter and divine
where moonlight drapes
a silken shroud
seeming to seek
a love unfound
a touch that slips
through ghostly fingers
each breath a mist
a fading prayer
to share one breath
a thrilling ache
each night a kiss
a prayer, a plea
the shadow she couldn’t set free
silhouette of silk and grief
fingers light
tracing fate
where throbbing hearts
lose their beat
her body bends
but not her soul
her silver eyes, once bold
now tremble
desperate for him
not for me
chasing shadows
a heart in endless flight
