my main requirement in a partner is someone who's willing to "yes, and" me. if i say something completely insane i need them to just pick that up and run with it and commit to the bit until we wind up with a conversation that's funny to us but completely incoherent to everyone within earshot. actually now that i'm typing this out i've realised my ideal relationship might just be "shitty improv comedy duo"
I love how feminism changed my perspective about everything in life. This is why women are taught that feminism isn't good for them; it opens our eyes and shows us the world's true colours. "If you want to get married or you don't want trouble in life, avoid feminism", they say, but it's for them. They know how strong the power women could hold against men and their sick rules.
I really love how Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie….is just “This Writer”…..they wouldn’t even name her??? How disrespectful can you be???
it kinda sucks ass when ppl don’t hate from the heart fr….like it’s just something to do bc the social media climate tells you so. not because you actually feel it :/
Didn’t Aristotle say that women are “deformed men” (Politeia)? DIdn’t Otto Weininger say that “no men who really think deeply about women retain a high opinion of them” (Geschlecht und Charakter)? Didn’t Arthur Schopenhauer say that women are “childish, frivolous, short-sighted” and that they are “by nature meant to obey” (Über die Weiber)? Didn’t Thomas Aquinas say that “Woman is subject to man because in the male reason predominates” (Summa Theologica I)? Didn’t Augustine say that “he [man] is by himself the image of God”, whereas women are “merely man’s helpmate”?
I could go on but I think this should suffice for now. The point is that these are the “great men” that have been profoundly influencing Western thought for thousands of years and are quasi-worshipped for their supposed “genius”.
But then, somewhere along the line, one Valerie Solanas comes along, writes one little satire where she doesn’t talk about men in particularly favourable manner and suddenly she’s The Devil?
so I came across this video on my fyp of a detransitioner who is adamantly anti-“terf”:
but she notes that, as a detransitioner she is allowed to speak on trans issues:
and here is her comment section:
No matter how appeasing you are to them, if you leave the religion you are excommunicated. This isn’t like being “ex gay” because transition, an action, is different to being SSA, an inherent trait.
Also note the “I would never ever detrans”… okay? This isn’t about you. If you have to declare this in the comment section of a random detransitioner, maybe you’re insecure!
this looks like the coolest place to go ever
