Lou Uglydolls-quick rant

Ok, so I was thinking about Uglydolls and I had a thought come to me:

What if Lou made himself think of the other dolls as "mindless sycophants" in order to not get attached.

Now, hear me out;

As the prototype, Lou knew that every doll he met would either move on to the Big World and get a kid or go to the recycling bin. He couldn't afford to get attached to any doll. Which is why when he found Ox, he may have thought he couldn't go to the Big World either. Lou thought of Ox as a friend because he wasn't like a pretty doll. But when Lou found out that Ox could go to the Big World, he felt betrayed and lashed out by having Ox sent to the recycling bin.

And maybe when he saw Moxy and the others, he didn't want to have to deal with what happened to Ox again. So, he just tried to discourage them.

Lou was just trying to keep himself from getting hurt from losing everyone. So, he cut himself off from having friends.

Lou wasn't allowed to get his own kid. And knowing everyone else would, he felt envious and didn't want to feel the pain of losing all of his friends. So, he just made himself think of them as mindless blank faces that he could detach feeling from. Lou forced himself to feel nothing for the dolls around him. Over the time he'd been at the Institute he internalized what he felt and it caused him to finally snap at the Gauntlet.

My point is:

Lou isn't a bad person because of what he did. He made bad choices because he felt lonely and didn't want to be hurt from the loss he could experience if he did make friends.

LMAO DREAMWORKS IS TRASH. As an Asian violinist who was excited about seeing this movie before, I just wanna say FUCK YOU. FUCK WHOEVER ALLOWED FOR THIS TO BE IN THE FINAL CUT. Dreamworks finally got the galls to make a movie starring an Asian girl and they decided to put in this Chinese imperialistic agenda against my country!! GREAT //s

For those who didn’t know: that above is the nine-dash line, a controversial and wildly false statement by China, claiming that the Eastern Sea (which belongs to Vietnam alongside other SEAsian countries) was actually their territory according to some obscure history that only they seem to remember - I wonder why. The whole thing an entire mess and a half, but it did die down some time ago. I honestly didn’t expect to see it again, let alone be reminded of it in this seemingly lighthearted family movie of a WESTERN company.

A lot of Vietnamese people are calling to boycott Dreamworks and for this, I completely understand why. They should’ve known better, there’s no excuse to this.

More Dark!AU MTR Headcanons

THAT’S RIGHT! THE HEADCANONS THAT ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ASKED FOR exceptfor@therobinsonwayoflifeifyouwannagettechnical

Some are cheesy, some are low hanging fruit, and some… well… just plain weird. Blood, violence, alcohol, sex, anything is fair game in the headcanons below. Read at your own risk.

And away… we… GO!

Doris=GLaDOS backstory. (PORTAL 2 SPOILERS AHEAD) Doris was a human working at InventCo and Cornelius shoved her inside of a robotic hat. The process was literally painful, obviously twisted on Cornelius’ part, and gives stronger revenge reasoning for Doris. Perhaps she’s even gone a bit mad through the process (I’m imagining her normal self sometimes breaking through like Caroline does with GLaDOS)

Continuing with that but adding another layer, Doris could have been forced to be a sex robot instead of a hat (or… uh… both..? never mind…) This could technically be more of a sex related AU but I bring this up for  abuse reasoning and also gives Cornelius another Evil!AU idea. Yet again another good reason for wanting revenge on Doris’ part. One could even go further with this by assuming Doris can use sexuality to control others (which, I mean, technically does happen in a lot of irl cases so it’s believable if she’s been wired to know exactly what to do and good lord the title “Helping Hat” certainly gets put into a different light…) and if that’s the case then that would mean Goob would have yet another sad layer of being used/controlled in ways that are even more disturbing and pitiful that just the original non-Dark!AU path.

We’ve all heard of the headcanon that Uncle Joe wasn’t always the way he is now. Some kind of accident turning him into a less responsive and baby-like version of what he use to be. But what if… what if it wasn’t an accident at all… What if… Aunt Billie was being abused… and either she snapped… or someone came to her aid… Either Cornelius turned Joe into someone Billie could be happier with or someone failed at a murder attempt, leaving him paralyzed and mentally broken.

I don’t even know if I have to type all the possibilities with Fritz and Petunia. This one feel self-explanatory. Fritz murders his original wife and denies the truth. Fritz abused his original wife but then when she died he couldn’t handle the guilt. Etc, etc.

Gaston has gone through so much plastic surgery to repair the wounds from his various stunts that he’s now addicted to it. Now he’s obsessed with not only the pain from the stunts but also going under the knife afterwards. The harder the fall, the bigger the enjoyment.

Grandpa Bud is a secret alcoholic which is why he’s constantly forgetting what rooms exist in the house or where he put his teeth.

Carl becomes jealous of anyone who tries to get close to his precious Little Buddy. As such, if he decides someone is getting too chummy and could potentially replace him as Main Man (robot?) Best Friend, Future City’s next killer is discovered. (Could lead to Carl become so crazily obsessed with Wilbur that he gets jealous of the family as well and as such poisons everyone but Wilbur at dinner)

Lewis is too late in telling Doris that he’ll never invent her. Que scene of her literally shredding him, blood flying everywhere around the meeting room.

Cornelius accidentally invents something that causes a crazy disease to spread. First Future City falls. Then surrounding cities. Then the world. Cornelius tries in vain to fix what he’s done but ultimately watch as the world crumbles around him.

Mildred, in debt out of her ears, sometimes allows… patrons… to pay cash under the table for a one-night-only rendezvous with an orphan of their choice.

Uncle Art stole Lefty away from his family/planet and made him a slave on Earth which Lefty is forced to do or else starve (since he can only eat food from his home planet and Uncle Art is the only one with access to where the planet is and how to drive the ship there). Work as a slave or die.

AU where Tiny eats everyone in That One Scene.

The only reason Laszlo flies everywhere is because Tallulah got so heated in an argument with him once-upon-a-time that at one point she slammed down a heavy item/object onto his feet, causing them to be irreversibly broken.

The only reason Franny is obsessed with the singing frogs is because Cornelius never gives her the time of day and treats her like a slave. She’s locked in the music room where only others can open the door (if they even want to) and is really only used as a play thing for Cornelius. The frogs are her only solace.

Mr. Harrington actually dies, leaving Lewis to give up on inventing right then and there, meaning his Good Future never happens.

Wilbur experiments with gruesome pranks, including finding Bud’s teeth before anyone else can and placing tacks into every gum slot which leads to one terrifying trip to the hospital/dentist.

AU where Stanley and Lizzie become evil and turn into lords of their own respective domains complete with lava monsters for Stanley and giant attack ants for Lizz–… wait…

I thought I was the only one who loved Timecest and this is sad to my very soul.
