Bisexual Woman flag <3
I chose pink for- not femininity as all women are beautiful whether they’re masculine or feminine- but for femaleness. Purple for sapphicness and womanhood. And green since it’s an international women’s day colour. I am so proud of this flag :)
if anyone out there would want to make barbie icons with a bi flag background i would be sooo eternally grateful to you 🤲🏼
what always made the most sense to me aside from this is reclaiming the 2 in bi not as actual genders, but as hetero & homo attraction.
i love how no one on this site knows anything about lgbt history. fucking obviously "bi" literally means "two," but that label was put upon us by cishets who only recognize gender as two sexes with the purpose of pathologising us. we reclaimed it and redefined it to suit the ACTUAL meaning of our sexuality, which, as according to the bisexual manifesto (1990), which was literally even titled Anything That Moves, bisexuality has always been an attraction to all genders. every single one. not any 2, not 2 or more. all genders.
Hesticarn, bi hesticarn, lesbian hesticarn, and sapphic hesticarn flags (in that order)
Hesticarn is a mixture of butch, femme, and futch, at an almost even balance, but is always/often incorporating a sparkly, pink, or typically feminine aesthetic
Hesticarns might feel liberation from wearing pink dresses but with sneakers, being a motherly/maternal figure to others but like in a fruity big bro sense, doing traditionally masculine activities but with a girly aesthetic like working out but with pink weights or pink gym clothes, dressing completely masc but with glittery pink lipgloss, and redefining what a mix of butch and femme means to them. It’s giving Barbie Butch. Think pink suits and ties rather than pink dresses. Or pink dresses but with hairy legs and “sitting/behaving masculine”. It’s however a sapphic transforms butch and femme identities while always/often incorporating girly/pink aesthetic in some form.
The name is derived from Hestia, the Greek Goddess of the Hearth, and Carnations, a flower (which is also the flower on the sapphic hesticarn flag!)
Why is the in-general hesticarn flag (for bisexuals, lesbians, all sapphics) almost identical to the bisexual hesticarn flag? 1. The crescent moon on the bi hesticarn flag will tell them apart and 2. It’s okay for different identity flags to look similar, the genderfluid flag would basically be the asexual flag if you swap the pink and blue with the grey, 3. Bi women are pushed out of butch and femme spaces so much I wanted to create a butch/femme identity flag that was centred on bi sapphics, even though it does represents all sapphics!
Flags open to all sapphics! Bisexuals, bi+ wlw, lesbians, unlabelled sapphics, nblw, etc!

It looks like a sunset

#the sky is bi confirmed
hey, i hope it was okay that i added a background circle with a shade of purple exactly in-between the two you used! i just felt it looked a little too simple, so for fun i wanted another slight detail:
i also made versions with the classic double moons symbol as well!
Biphilia attraction to two or more genders.
The suffix “philia” Greek word means “love, affection”. Philic attraction would mean love (towards two or more genders).
Bi individuals may prefer this term, some because they are variorented, such as gyneromantic androsexuals or androromantic gynesexuals, etc. Biphiliac encompasses all bi-prefixed orientations.
The first flag was based on the gynephilic and androphilic flags, can be used for ambiphilic flag too. The sencond one on the bisexual flag, I would like to make the size of the purple color the same as the others, but it would look like some androgyne flags.

I love bi ppl so much it’s unreal
Happy bisexual visibility month 💙💜💖
As a nonbinary bisexual in a long term relationship with another nonbinary bisexual this is important and I’m v tired of the biphobia and transphobia coming from the “bisexual people are only attracted to (cis) men and women” take I’m sure we’ve all seen too often
