OMG today was the best! The new job’s office (not in the picture background, I'm at the doctor's there...) has so many cool chill people in it, so far I wanna stay here forever!
Had induction meetings, and a tour around the office, everything was so cool! Another 2 people joined so I wasn’t entirely nervous thinking I’m the only one who would be confused on the whole onboarding process. Work’s in an old-like building with a Grunge aesthetic vibe going on, absolutely love it! And music plays in the background which is so much better than the old job which was in complete silence 🤐
I'm just super excited to start working on the project + the team seem, and are, super friendly and helpful! Thank God for a smooth process getting here, yay!
New Years Resolutions #3: Work hard and do well in new job!
Disney was making a Homestuck movie. They were also making a short about Rufioh, which I was really hyped for and was really pissed about when I woke up.

I met some relatives of my beloved leatherleaf slugs in the mangroves of Singapore, the onch slugs! they’re perhaps some of the slowest-moving animals I’ve ever encountered; this is one in a hurry:
the species pictured is a Platevindex, which are particularly interesting to me since their backs are studded with extra eyes! the dorsal papillae each have a little black dot that’s a photoreceptor, which helps the slug detect changes in light exposure.
onchidiids are marine animals, living on costal rocks and in mangroves, but breathe air and spend much of their time out of the water. like the leatherleafs, they’ve got a dry, tough hide that maintains water balance, but Platevindex takes that to an extreme—when I picked one up, it felt like a vulcanized rubber tire!
If you want to be the kind of person who would do something, then just do it, and you'll be that kind of person. There are no pure personality archetypes for you to fall into, they're an illusion that your brain constructs out of partial datasets and media prerogatives. Let the radical unknowability of the Other set you free.
