Damn. Rewatched the Ninjago Movie and Jay is a lot snarkier than I remember. He's the main guy getting mad at Lloyd when they all almost die, he's talking a lot more than I expected him to, he's even a bit more confident than I gave him credit for. He's a lot more like Show!Jay than I thought.

The army of shadows is something created by Garmadon since here he knows how to use his Oni power but the defect of this army would be that it cannot command itself so it needs Captains to command it, in total there are five captains and Lloyd since he doesn't.
