“I’m writing this review now because my phone service gets cut off in two weeks. I will soon be finding a new job. Me, an artist, took commissions as my only means of living, tumblr was my platform. About 90% of my posts are nsfw, or at least show females “presenting nipples”, so I am no longer allowed to post. I started losing money towards the end of November I was making around 48,000 a year SOLEY ON COMMISSION ART, I haven’t made anything in over three weeks. I have been using this money to pay off my car note and student loans, and I’m still heavily in debt. Next week I move out of my apartment, and I don’t have anywhere for me or my pets as of now. Tumblr has proved to be a callous social media platform, with lazy staff who truly do not care for their users. I wish well for all of those impacted by this, I know it is hard. There will be better platforms in the future, I am sure of it.”

ok this pride i do really need white gays to step up and out of their comfort zone and learn more about pinkwashing and gay imperialism. i need you to really try to understand why we say lgbt issues are ALWAYS about race and acknowledge the ways you use your identity as an opt-out of examining how you can reproduce racism islamophobia antisemitism colorism ableism etc etc. every year you say « don’t forget the ‘‘poc gays’’ that made this possible !! » now im asking you guys to actually do that. please ive had enough.

This is only the beginning. Our country has not only entered a new decade, it seems a new dawning era as well, because this flaming apocalypse doesn't show any sign of stopping any time soon.

And you know what saddens me? I've never seen Australian tragedies trending here on this website. I mean it's been going on for months and only now does it seem to really be getting recognized, even if it is only at #9.

And I'm going to be honest with you here - the internet, and media in general is so American centric, this website being no exception. You'd think that an entire continent being on fire for several months with devastating consequences would have more recognition, but no, it really doesn't. The most notes I've ever seen on a post about the Australian fires is at least a few thousand, and that's about it.

So just... please. If you can, with this post or any other post in regards to the fires going on down here, reblog. Because the only thing that should be spreading like wildfire, is a post about a burning country...
