I just found out two local gay artists were found murdered in their home. fuck. jesus. I knew these guys. I own their art. I've attended so many gallery openings at their shop. they've meant so much to the community here. and they're just fucking gone? just like that?

and of course the cops are claiming it's not a hate crime.

humanoid outfit study in dark red, july 2024

another warmup piece in rebelle, painting practice and outfit study. took a week on and off and changed a lot from the sketch, felt good to finish something that dragged on and gave some trouble. likely to revisit what we aimed for in the sketch for another warmup and use the more dynamic pose that was compromised away from here.

(warmup = easing back into art after long break, relearning software and adapting pen pressure and general technique around arm problems. anything but fast these days lol)

Disabled trans woman needs help affording wheelchair

Hate to have to ask, but I need help affording a new wheelchair, as my current is breaking and I won't really be able to leave the house without it. Anything will help and will be put towards saving for it. The wheelchair I've selected costs a little over $1000.

Please help a homeless trans woman stay warm during an ice storm!

Charlotte is a trans woman who is living in her car. Right now one of the tires is almost completely shredded and it is extremely dangerous to drive on the ice. It is also way to cold to safely sleep in the car. Please help her get enough money to fix her tire and get a motel and some food for the night. If 10 people send $25, that’s enough!
