Here’s my entry for @adastracalendar (which is now 50% off on Etsy, just sayin'!) :D I loved working on this one- it's about the very first star you can see in the evening, something that has always made me a tad emotional for some reason... a parallelism with these two was inevitable! I've been lucky to work with Chamyl, who wrote the lovely fic that accompanies this artwork: she 's been so incredibly kind and obliging, moving and changing things around when I offered my personal preference on something. I just adore the final result, it's everything I would have hoped and so, so much more :') GAH I LOVE IT, I REALLY LOVE IT
FUN FACT: that first star you see at night isn’t actually a star, but the planet Venus! According to the Kabbalah archangel Anael (or Aniel, from Hebrew: "Joy of God") is the ruler of Venus (they're also called Aphrodite by the Greeks, Venus by the Romans and Osiris/Isis by the Egyptians). WELL, Anael is also the Chief of the Order of Principalities. Sssso if you squint this whole thing makes some kind of sense with both Crowley AND Aziraphale uvu

First post of the year and it’s a WAHOO kind of post! I’ll file this under “dreams come true”, I’ll SLAM-DUNK it in that magical folder with no hesitation whatsoever. Here’s the collab between me and my beloved @gingerhaole and I couldn’t be happier. When she asked me if I felt like adding lineart and colors to her gorgeous sketch I just about happily cried. OF COURSE I yelled Y E S and here’s the result! The colors I ended up adding to the piece are pretty different from the ones she first sketched, but I really like how two artists can give a completely different mood to the same picture 💚

Hi. I've finished watching good omens and would like to get into the fandom. It was recommended to me after supernatural pulled *whatever that was* but I don't know where to start and you're the first fandom artist I've bumped into. Do you have any tips?

Oh hi! Welcome to the fandom!
I’ve never been a part of the supernatural fanbase as 13yo me heard Dean’s voice and immediately noped out, so I’m not really sure what differences to prepare you for. We’re a very happy, very friendly, very LGBTQ (a ridiculously high percentage of the fans are on the queer spectrum, it’s pretty hard to bump into fans who are both straight and cis here), and accepting fandom. Shipping wars, kinkshaming and bullying are rare to virtually nonexistent and headcanons aren’t really bashed either (unless you aggressively promote a single top/bottom dynamic, headcanon Aziraphale as slim or...I can’t really think of anything rn but those might get you on the bad list of some people)
As for tips:
To get started with the proper GO fandom experience, I’d definitely recommend following @neil-gaiman , @fuckyeahgoodomens (a super dedicated blog that posts updates on absolutely everything GO more or less) and follow Michael Sheen, the official Good Omens account, Douglas MacKinnon and maybe also Georgia Tennant on twitter (if you use it)
Another good place to look is @ineffableplanner a blog that lists all the activities such as exchanges or bangs happening every week, all the zines selling or taking applications and also lists open discord servers and pillowforts in which you can easily connect with other fans and make it easier and quicker to learn everything you have to know.
When it comes to fan creators, we have a lot. There’s no way I can list them all and most artists are based and post on twitter and Instagram, not here, but some of the ones I would recommend are our two big (relative)newbies: @owlygem and @tweedfeather and the many, many older artists such as @gingerhaole @hollow-head @asparklethatisblue @umulata @whiteleyfoster @wheeloffortune-design @lilianriekeart @khiroptera @scaramacaisstuff @gemennair @lonicera-caprifolium @mielpetite @goosetooths @yamisnuffles @savethewailes @zerachu @green-grin @aiwa-sensei @relemenopy and oh so many more that I can’t recall right now.
As for the writer and fic part of the fandom? I’m unfortunately not very well versed there. I have a very specific fic taste that doesn’t overlap with the fandom big fics so I don’t know who the big writers are. Some of the writers who do come to mind that I know as friends are @chamyl and @amuseoffyre ...and I’m definitely forgetting a whole lot of other people...

As I said, I’ll slooowly going to repost everything the frenns over on IG have already seen (all of the THIRTEEN things I posted, woah, be careful not to drOWn in this crazy amount of content) :D
I made this for the crazy talented @goosetooths , one of my fav artist ever. I used their ✨AmAzInG✨ Crowley cosplay they shared some time ago as a reference because. Because come on. That handmade embroidery was way too tempting and I physically couldn’t resist drawing it. Agh.

BUT ANYWAY, this was for the amazingly talented and disgustingly nice @lonicera-caprifolium who’s one of my forever fav artists in the fandom :’) I tried to draw an outfit that reminded me of what they usually dress their Crowley with and I kinda like it!
Good Omens Lockdown Transcript
I realized that I had some time (what some, I have all the time right now) and set up to do a transcript for the new little Good Omens Short, for those who need it. Here you go!

(Phone ringing)
Crowley: What?
Aziraphale: Uh… hello, it’s me!
Crowley: I know it’s you, Aziraphale.
A: Yes, well, I was just calling to see how you were doing in lockdown
C: I’m bored. I’m so very very bored. Transcendentally bored. There’s nothing to do here. I’ve decided, that if I can’t think of anything to do in the next two days, I’m going to have a nap and I’ll set the alarm clock for June. It’s got to be all over by June, isn’t it?
A: Look if this isn’t a silly question, oughtn’t you to be out and about, doing things?
C: Out and about? When we’re all meant to be staying home?
A: Well, yes. You’re a demon, you’ve got a job to do. Obviously, you’re not actually going to get ill, or even spread a disease, but you could set a bad example. Get ominously close to people. Tell everyone there’s a party going on or… something.
C: I… I could do that. I mean I could. But if I did… well… people might follow my bad example and get ill. Or even die. And I know I ought to be making people’s lives even worse but everyone’s so miserable cooped up anyway I just… don’t have the heart for it.
A: I’m not miserable!
C: Really? Oh, I suppose you’re off nipping around London doing miracles for people, from a socially approved distance.
A: Oh no, I can’t do that. We’re all meant to stay at home. I put up the closed sign on the window and I’ve been catching up on my reading. Do you know, I’ve never had so few customers, not in 200 years. Although, there were a few young lads a couple of nights ago, broke in through the back, and tried to steal the cash box. But they soon saw the error of their ways
C: Did you smite them with your wroth?
A: Well I certainly gave them a good talking to. And I sent each of them home with cake.
C: Cake.
A: Quite a lot of cake, actually.
C: I… I’m going to regret asking but… uh
A: Well, all the restaurants and cafes are closed, but it turns out I have a whole cookbook section here in the bookshop. And I got peckish. I’ve now made bundt cake, sponge cake, angel’s food cake, four different kinds of sourdough loaf, Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, although I had to miracle in the cherries. And then, once I’ve baked them, I have to eat them all myself. Which was why I was so delighted…
C: To send your burglars home laden with baked goods. Yes. Yeah, yeah, I thought… You know, I could hunker down at your place. Slither over and watch you eat cake. I could bring a bottle, a case, of something drinkable.
A: No, I… I… I… I’m afraid that would be breaking all the rules. Out of the question! I’ll see you… when… this is over?
C: Right. Um.. I’m setting the alarm clock for July. Goodnight Angel.

minor notes: it looks like Crowley makes up a word about how bored he is so I had to guess at what it might look like (edit: @oabsalom and @duraffinity identified the likely correct word, thank you!), and I had to look up the spelling for one of the cakes Aziraphale made. I hope this helps everyone! @fuckyeahgoodomens, this is for that ask you got.
Eeep first proper post on here! I’ll probably slowly repost everything I drew GO-related so far but for now please enjoy these terrified dahlias: Crowley did his absolute best to wish @alessiacielart a very happy quarantined birthday by YELLING AT THEM NONSTOP! This is... this is the right version, unlike the one I regretfully posted on IG. Oh well, too late.
