Moar flowers!
I have been participating in Inktober over on Twitter and I thought I would share some of my inks so far.
More D&D inspired illustration stuff! Also trees and foliage. On a unrelated note - in case you are still on this here platform - if you one day find yourself leaving tumblr and still want to see when I post drawings (as well as reblogging lovely art/game-stuff from other people) then come say hi on Twitter: @BHojlund
Uny the Spectral Hand - part 2 of a duo. The other part being Ohn Bronzeborn. She is a half-elf Eldritch Knight and adventurer. Together the two have perfected the art of fighting in unison.
As promised, an activated version of these swords from earlier. edit: made a version with effects.
A concept for an androgynes alien visitor for a Space-Inn simulator a friend is making.
Prop/weapon designs for the same game pitch as these two posts. I will see if I can get to make an activated version of these soon. Lots of inspiration from the lovely art-of-swords.
”Fool’s Errand” This is a 4-pager comic thing that I never got to post (before now, duh). It feels fitting to post now since I just learned that Johann Johannsson pasted away some days ago. I was listening to The Beast from Sicario, which he composed, all the way through making this one. I am sad to hear of his passing since I was looking forward to hearing more soundtracks from his side. The idea for this one came from an advice in a twitter post where a young student said that her teacher had instructed them in making comics/visual novels that were 4 pages long. If they needed more pages than that, then the story was too long and they could have to correct it. It merged well with @mrjakeparker‘s advice on Finished, Not Perfect and so I got to work.
More D&D "maps". Some sessions ago, the guys in my long-running campaign saved a count's life and was rewarded with an old border fortress. Probably not cursed.
I just realized! I never uploaded any of my D&D maps here? I should do that. This one is from the game I run with my lovely 7-person group. The time of the Great Cities is over and The Magor Valley is now dominated by goblin tribes. If only someone could do something about it.
These are a couple of GIFs from our gameplay video of the museum game, Old Souls. It was a collaboration project between bachelors and master game-students at KADK. I was the Art Director on the project, but I also ended up producing some assets (but I love doing that).
