That’s not exactly how it works… You see, freckles fade when you haven’t been in the sun as much as usual. Idk if the winter affected that too much because they had their military duty stuff and such.
Little historical lams hc: So Laurens really likes Hamiltons freckles. Like, a lot. He’ll count them to fall asleep, trace patterns with his fingers, kiss em e.c.t. Now I'm not sure where I heard this, but I heard freckles can fade away in colder months, like winter. And you know what place was extremely cold during the winter? Valley Forge.
So one day Laurens wakes up, rolls over to admire Hamilton in his sleep and he freezes.
Alexander's freckles are gone.
For the rest of the day Laurens is mourning the loss of Hamiltons freckles. Hamilton is just confused why Laurens tears up whenever he looks at him.
Australia is currently petitioning to make it that all gender confirming surgeries for transgender individuals are covered by Medicare. This is absolutely huge as surgeries are super expensive even with private health insurance.
It doesn't ask for an address or phone number or anything so I think anyone in the world can sign for it? But I'm not entirely sure.
EDIT: yeah you gotta be a citizen, so if you're outside the country, if you could reblog this to reach more Australians, this would be amazing!
Here's the petition link:
Petition information:
Please reblog this and spread it as far and wide as you can, this is super important!

I like randomly making family trees for random 18th century families when I want to waste time and procrastinate, so today I made a family tree of the Van Rensselaers. And I found out that, with enough digging, THE VAN RENSSELAERS ARE RELATED TO THE SCHUYLER SISTERS, ALEXANDER HAMILTON, BENJAMIN TALLMADGE, CALEB BREWSTER, SELAH STRONG, AND MARY STRONG. Sadly, I couldn’t find Abe Woodhull in the “Setauket Branch,” but I think this is good enough.
Reblog if you're not straight, I want some notes

By the way, Hamilton’s favorite book was Postlethwayt’s Dictionary of Trade and Commerce.
Historical people of the past aren’t just characters, they aren’t just figures in books- those people actually walked the earth, they lived, they breathed, they had a favorite book, they had ambitions, they smelled the flowers, they saw the colors in the sky. They aren’t just characters, they were actual people with problems, emotions and flaws. They weren’t perfect, but they still mean the whole world to some of us.
McHenry: What does “take out” mean?
Tilghman: Food
Tallmadge: Dating
Hamilton: Murder
Laurens: It can mean all three if you’re brave enough
Hi this is the Weekly Wednesday Reading Report! I sorta forgot this was a weekly thing. Umm, idk what to write here. I went to Washington DC this weekend and I got a book on the first secretary of the Smithsonian Institution. I haven’t read it yet but it seems cool.
Uh, bye now.
*harrison walks in and throws meade into the fireplace*
Meade: I am the most responsible person here
Tallmadge: You just set the chimney on fire
Meade: Yes, and I take full responsibility for that
I mean it was either Paterson or Tallmadge.

I’d invite a bunch of founding fathers to dinner just to watch them fight with eachother and then push Jefferson off a cliff. Then I’ll chase McHenry around with a knife for fun.
Time Travel: *exist*
Amrev Fandom: Peace was never an option.
Mmmm, lafayette
which of washington’s aides would paint their nails or go get a manicure?
I’m 5’ 3’’ so I’m not too short I think
I am taller than 4 of the Founding Fathers.
James Madison was 5″4, John Adams was 5″5, Aaron Burr was also 5″5, and Alexander Hamilton was 5″6.
I’m 5″7. I am taller than 4 of the Founding Fathers.
You motherfucking little midgets. Who’s got the upper hand on the national bank establishment now, Alexander?
Hello! It’s your Weekly Wednesday Reading Report! This week, I’ve compiled a reading list that totally wasn’t taken from the bibliographies of random historical books! Btw, no, I won’t actually list out the books, I’ll just give you a screenshot! Argggggghhhhhhh it’s too long for a screenshot.
I included links, but you can’t click them, lol.
About the Robert Troup thing…
Sure, “friends.”
there's a disturbing and horrifying lack of aaron burr content in this fandom. so here's an itemized list of thirty years of burr doing random things:
got attacked by bedbugs and then slept on the floor
bought a coconut for $40
set himself on fire with gunpowder
and then did it again
and then did it again
lost his umbrella like 5 times and lamented in his diary about it
helped maria reynolds divorce her husband
helped lots of other women escape their abusive relationships
adopted a boy he'd freed from slavery and raised him as his own
supported feminism and wanted women to be able to vote
had sex with jeremy bentham
and maybe robert troup
wrote his daughter about this gay sex
for some reason theodosia was completely fine with it
which disturbs me but ok
I’ve gone insane. It’s 1 am and I’ve been on Tumblr for the past two hours. The first thing I did when I got home was open up a transcription of Alexander Hamilton’s notebook and rant to my friends about James McHenry in all caps. Then, I got a tub of ice cream, sat on the couch, and played BitLife for 5 hours before impulsively buying all my school supplies on Amazon.
Got this on #pinterest
Math is RED!!!! Gym is orange, french is yellow, science is green, English is blue, history is purple
Wilkinson: So, what would you like your code name to be?
Burr: 15 14 15 16
Wilkinson: What?
Burr: Did I stutter?
The founding fathers walking into Independence Hall
*door slams*
Madison: Wait guys I’m still out here!
Washington: *looks through the peephole* I thought I heard something outside but there’s no on there
Madison: *jumping up and down trying to be visible through the peeephole*
Jefferson: Where’s James??
Is cool
