Scientists From Austin Texas Map The Spike Protein Required For Corona Virus Vaccine

The SARS-Cov-2 virus better known as the Corona virus days of wreaking havoc are numbered.

With the mapping of its spike protein similar to a guided missile launch system  being compromised, since it is the viruses main way of attack, scientists were able to figure out exactly what its tools looked like in order to pinpoint the spike.

With this information, they were able to infer that  the protein spike you see in the image above can be modified to produce a formidable vaccine against the virus.

The vaccine itself may be years from now, but this development may open the road for other researchers to help facilitate the process of a vaccine. More on this at Livescience!
