I don’t think the podium thing has anything to do with Lando’s interview.

Max has a degree of critical thinking so I don’t think he would have seen what Lando said as “taking a shot” at him because anyone with basic reading comprehension would be able to see that’s not the case.

The podium felt a little weird but I’m guessing that mechanic was having first time on the podium or something with the amount Max and Checo sprayed him. Everyone seemed fine in the cool-down room.

People take this stuff so personally because they feel more included if they can get offended. It’s a dopamine pay off.

The drivers don’t think this stuff is that deep I guarantee.

Your heart lurched at his words, agonized at his thoughts. You shook your head, tightening your grip on his arm. “You didn’t let anyone down. You played with everything you had. You made us proud.”

Lando fans will consider it Oscar’s fault. But the fact is, Lando had pole. He had every advantage at the start and as usual (and we can say usual because it happens very frequently) Lando threw it in the bin. That’s not on anyone except Lando.
