shauna finds natalie with the first snow fall of the season descending around them, hannah lied but she grew wise to the plan, she guesses mari or gen couldn't keep their whispers low enough when she sees her there, wiping her raw eyes with the back of her palm, standing to her feet. "what are you doing here?" she asks in a shakey breath, trying to keep the distance but shauna is quicker, doesn't even offer an explanation when she punches her in stomach, it knocks the wind out of but her knee striking stomach makes natalie double over, kneeling and coughing as she tried to breathe, shauna just stands over her.

"You look good like that. You should be kneeling to me."

natalie catches her eye, the darkness pooling in them dangerous, but she doesn't want to give her the satisfaction even when she's keeling over from pain. "Fuck...you, shauna..." There's a strange air between them, that putrid hatred reverberating in hot pulses but there's something else there when natalie's on her knees and can only crane her neck back to look up at her, it was demeaning like she really had lost everything even a title she never wanted. "Stay out of my way." shauna growls down at her, natalie holds a harsh gaze but ultimately doesn't say anything, she walks away feeling superior, leaving the former leader where she finds her, feeling more hopeless than ever still groveling in pain.

Shauna being the bear as she loves to see the way Natalie’s eyes fill with tears as she yells cruel words toward her and the way the tears prettily fall down Natalie’s red flushed cheeks from the winter cold that surrounds them once again and hurting Nat is the way she shows affection because destroying the things she loves is the only way Shauna knows how to handle things she can not control and it kills Natalie but Shauna loves it and she continues to rip Nat to shreds from the inside out but she knows she’ll be the one to help wipe Natalie’s tears after and smear blood on her and kiss her tears goodbye and Natalie will let her.

Natalie being the deer because it means she can get a sliver of affection in any way possible she will take it in her hands and grip it oh so tight and how Shauna is binding her wrists tightly and even though it slowly kills her she lets it happen and she feels the way her eyes burn from how much she cries and the bitter cold burns her cheeks. She lets Shauna rip her apart and dismantle her and letting Shauna see her insides being vulnerable with Shauna because it gives Natalie a reason and she will take anything Shauna hands her even if it coats her hands and face in blood.

But the fates have already fucked both of them sideways.
