Remember, you are not shifting to another world. You are shifting to another you. Connect with your DR self as much as you can. That is all you need to do - be your DR self, and you will be.
Concept: you’ve been married to your wife for 3 years. You wake up in your bed before she does, your nose cold but your body warm. Careful not to wake her, you get out of bed and your toes curl when your feet hit the cold floor. You brew a pot of coffee and take a cup, making sure to leave enough for her. You pull on a big sweater and walk out onto your deck, sitting in a big wood chair to look out over the forest. The leaves are orange and edged with frost. All is quiet as the sun rises over the trees. You hear the door opening behind you and your wife sits down next to you, wrapping the comforter from your bed around both of you shoulders. You sit there like that until the sun is well up and your coffee cups are empty.

PSA: you dont /have/ to reread your script before you shift!! your higher self is /not/ gonna "forget" your desires or the world you want to shift to. think of it like cloud storage. it has everything you want downloaded and protected, and it will stay that way forever.
if you just personally enjoy rereading your script, then go ahead, power to you. i love doing that as well, it makes me feel connected to where i wanna go. but just relax in the fact that you /wont/ just forget it. your higher self wont forget any detail of your dr, not even the itty bitty things. it has a perfect, infallible memory. you have to trust it, because its you. you are not your body, you're a soul living inside a body. just because your human brain cant perfectly recite every line of your script verbatim, doesnt mean you're gonna accidentally end up in the backrooms. let go of the stress babes, you've got this <3
Restart your shifting journey as many times as you want. Don't focus on the outcome, focus on what you input in your journey instead.
The Hypnagogic State/Hypnagogia
Hypnagogia is the transitional state your mind can experience which occurs during the onset of sleep. In layman terms, it's when you're on the verge of falling asleep. Hypnagogia is very trippy, and can give rise to some bizarre visual and perceptual hallucinations. It's common for people to experience dream-like visions, sounds, flashes of color, insights, sensations and barely formed thoughts. There are so many benefits to inducing the hypnagogic state, including increased creativity, with Issac Newton and Nikola Tesla attributing the hypnagogic state with their achievements.
The hypnagogic state is known to get you into the void easily. When you begin seeing flashes of white light coming into your vision, this will immediately put you in a trance like state. You'll be unable to feel your body, hear what's happening around you and you might even feel like you're floating. I'm sure this sounds familiar because almost every void state success story that entered through a meditation method has recalled these symptoms. After inducing the hypnagogic state, all you need to do is affirm for the void and you will enter quickly and easily.
There are countless methods to enter the hypnagogic state, but I will cover 3.
1. Thomas Edison (yes, the inventor of the lightbulb) claimed he developed a method for reliably achieving the hypnagogic state. Edison would sit alone in the darkness of his laboratory, holding a pair of steel balls, one in each hand, while sitting in a comfortable chair. Edison would allow himself to fall asleep whole holding the balls, which due to their shape and weight, would fall to the floor as soon as he fell asleep, making a lot of noise and thus waking him back up. After doing this a few times he'd have vivid hypnagogic experiences.
2. People have reported just laying down and repeating hypnagogia works for them! The trick here is you're trying to completely relax your body and reach that state where you're almost falling asleep, but still conscious so repeating "hypnagogia" will tire and relax you but also keep your mind occupied so that you don't end up falling asleep.
3. Use a 61 point meditation! This one is the one that I see a lot of void success stories are using, but any 61 point meditation should work.
