All of those children would be alive and happy had hamas not attacked Israel. That's who you should blame.
Alive and happy? But for how long?ย
Will they be alive and happy just to endure the next Israeli aggression on Gaza, projected to happen just within a year, the 5th or 6th one they have endured in their lifetime, which they have spent the entirety of living under Israeli siege in an open air prison?
Israel kills children without provocation. We are able to see it because we understand Israel to be a settler colonial state that adopts a settler colonial mindset. This genocidal mindset is embodied by the infamous colonelย Chivington quote "kill them all, big and small, nits make lice!"
As a settler colony, it is a moral imperative - a duty - for Israel to kill off the native population. There's a reason why maternity wards in Gazaโs hospitals were destroyed and infants in incubators have been left to rot and decay. The same reason why Israel had killed over 230 children in the West Bank since 2023 alone.
What I believe you really want to say is: these children would have been alive until Israel decides to kill them.
At the risk of sounding anti-intellectual, I think that college should be free and also not a requirement for employment outside of highly specialized career fields
Hi! I was on Instagram recently and stumbled upon Nisreen Shehada's account. Before October 7, Nisreen posted very aesthetic, well crafted baking TikToks/videos (which looked delicious!) Since October 7, she has been sharing her daily life in Gaza.
This is the first reel of hers I saw. It's so important that she is not only documenting her daily life right now (for public record, for memory, for history) but that she is doing it in a format that is so familiar to anyone online right now.
I think that even well intentioned people can sometimes unintentionally dehumanize groups fighting for justice amidst tragedy. It is vital that we view Palestinians not just as victims or impoverished or assume life has always been this non-stop nightmare. Literally, Nisreen is like so many people I know. Like so many people you know! Just a regular lady who loves baking! Just your friendly neighborhood dentist! Aperson who loves their families. A devoted cat mom. A very stylish dresser.
I love that her page shows how people are living day-to-day now. And I love that it shows her finding moments of joy even in the darkest of times. โค๏ธ
Please give her account a follow.
This is why itโs necessary to shut down weapons manufacturers and airports and governments. THIS IS WHY. The world cannot continue like this. Israel cannot exist. This needs to end NOW. Not just a ceasefire. There is NO redemption. There is no coming back from this. Itโs free all of Palestine. All of it.
I was talking to my dad about renewable energy and he was like โthe only problem with solar farms is they take up so much space.โ
And it made me think about a city and how much sun exposure all the rooftops in a city get andโฆwhy not just make the city itโs own solar farm by putting solar panels on every rooftop?
๐๐Stop, please ๐๐
We have been displaced several times, and our tragedy has reached the point that we now live in a tent that is unfit for living. We desperately need your help, I have launched a donation campaign but I cannot get the funds so I can get $4000 to get through this current crisis.

What's wrong?
The American public transportation system is actively lobbied against people in the lower classes of society, to the point where the government refuses to install trains because of the insistence upon cars. If we did install trains, and they became the main form of transport, it would save much more room for housing and infrastructure, and would become much more eco friendly as well. Furthermore, it would nigh on eradicate traffic, as there would be dozens of people per train car, as opposed to the current one or two people per regular car. It would save more space, time, and money, but we keep the current system of car centric society in place in order for CEOs who run car companies to stay in the 1 percent.
