Right?? The way the finale implied House would just throw his whole life purpose away - to solve puzzles and people's lives - just so he'd spend five months with Wilson is just so out of character for him.

You can't tell me he didn't have a plan all along to come back somehow. The way he said "It was fun" when Chase told him he'd be leaving gave such "It's not over yet" vibes. Even if he couldn't come back to common medicine, no way he'd give up on Chase (and the possibility of make him help give him some puzzles)

Also why does 80% of season 8 be just them two staring?
