Gosh, I wish I could visit Britain one day and explore all the ancient castles and visit all the hidden gems.
I was so happy with them, especially after all the stress with the predicted grades ☺️✨💕

Day 35 of My Summer Studying Challenge!
✨ 16th August ✨ Daytime or night time – what’s your favourite time during summer?
nighttime cause its the only time that it is slightly cool
august 12, 2020.
Did I seriously buy a whole lot of books during quarantine that will probably sit on my shelf for the next decade because, somehow, I find myself procrastinating on reading books as I’m indecisive and love the thought of having books but not actually opening them for a long time? Um, perhaps. I can’t wait to read this book though; this is the one that I’m super excited about and already know that my love for it will probably be comparable to my love for Ari & Dante. I’ll let y’all know if I’m right about that though! However, you might have to wait until, uh, maybe 2030? Nonetheless, I hope the universe has treated y’all with warmth and love this week! 🤍✨

Note-taking is one of the most essential skills a student should master. It allows you to record and review information to be used in the future. But what’s the best way to do so? Here’s an overview of note-taking styles that can help you maximize your learning!
I’ve started using notion for my productivity/schedules. I really like it :O I also started using it for some of my class readings, even though the semester is almost over. Def gonna use it for my notes and class organization next semester :)

finally moved out of my first college apartment! honestly if there’s anything i’ve learned from living with roommates is that i really need to get to know their cleaning style before rooming with them bc i keep getting really messy roommates :(
but on a better note, i finally finished my japanese AA degree!
Realised I accidentally scheduled my creative writing seminar for week three (in five days) so now I have way more work than I expected I would… on the bright side I’ll have less work later on, so that’s something.
Currently listening to - Rufus Wainwright’s Everybody Knows (cover)
Here is a list of some YouTube ASMR ambiences/soundscapes (they’re all hyperlinked, so click away!) Unlike traditional ASMR, these videos do not feature any people. Talented YouTubers have used software to create rendered environments with layered sounds, with many of these ambiences inspired from fantasy to others based in reality. I find music with lyrics to be distracting sometimes, but these are great background noises for focusing, studying, doing homework, and even for relaxing. Enjoy and good luck ♡

After a whole summer of work, I am finally finishing my thesis 🎀💫🎓
2020, August
I wrote and deleted the caption about ten times, but I’m just going to say it: I haven’t been feeling well recently. The fact I failed all my exams in June again - and meanwhile most of my friends are finishing their bachelor degrees - makes me feel overwhelmed and like a failure. All I wanted to do in life was go to university, but is it really worth it all this pain and loathing? I try not to linger too much on this question right now, and I fill my days with studying and working. It’s the best solution for now, but I guess at some point I will have to face the reality of things and decide whether I should drop out and do something about my future. I still love studying physics, but maybe it really isn’t for me.
I’m starting a masters this autumn and I thought it was finally time to stop lurking and actually make a studyblr
A little about me:
My name is flo
Pronouns are she/her
English is my native language but I also speak German
I have a undergraduate degree in maths
I’m starting a masters in speech and language processing
I’m interested in maths, languages, computer science and linguistics
I love plants and own too many (if that’s possible)
I’m making this studyblr to hold myself accountable and track my progress when it comes to academics but also to join the community of incredible people who share their diverse knowledge!!
A few of the studyblrs that have inspired me: @polcry, @myhoneststudyblr, @athenastudying and @jennystudy
- me -
i’m Lilla (she/her) a 20 year old Capricorn from hungary
i’m a hoe for the cottagecore + dark academia aesthetic

i love nature and wandering in the wilderness aimlessly (or in the local park at least)
serious book- and plantaholic
also a proud mom of my cat-son, Aramis. Be prepared to see tons of images of himb
i love philosophy, especially stoicism
- academics -
i’m second year international business uni student, and aspiring to be a project manager
i take my classes completely online this year, and work full time at a bank as an intern (so yeah, this year will be kind of hectic)
besides these i love to work on my french and programming skills
and in the future i would love to learn russian
Thank you for your attention, and special thanks to the marvelous studyblrs that inspired me to start my own:
@sonderstudy @coffeeandpies @sosiaalitieteet @clabujo @eunoiamaybe @kleinbluu @emmastudies @spell-studies @frogstudies @akadanie @diaryofastemstudent @phoebe-does @elkstudies
btw i wanted to add a banner to make it more ✨aesthetic✨, but tumblr messed up the quality real bad, so if anyone has any tips how to prevent that, i’m all ears 💕
Me! ☺️✨

Hey guys! So I’m really sorry but I’ll be ending the 100 days of productivity challenge! I’ve been struggling to keep up with it and it adds unnecessary stress that isn’t productive at all. 😅
I will however remain posting other study motivation photos! Don’t think my blog will die because I’m ending the challenge ☺️
Hope you enjoy the next photos I post and feel free to send any asks!! ☺️✨🌿☕️
Day 72/100 days of productivity ☕️🌿
Today wasn’t great but I still got a lot done! I finally did some writing that I’ve been putting off but the deadline is in a few days and I’m not sure if I’m going to finish in time... it’s really annoying because I really didn’t mean to procrastinate this long :/
21st July - What is the best vacation you have ever been on? (note: does not have to have been during summer)
Ah, October a couple of years ago we went to America and it was amazing, we went to Disneyland and saw my aunts and uncles that live there. There were so many amazing coffee shops and I tried a cake shake which was literally a milkshake blended with a cupcake 🧁 I really enjoyed myself then 💫✨
11.06.2020 My aesthetic is old paperbacks, inky fingers, thrift-shop art in gilt frames, dried flowers, and rumpled sheets.
Cultural Dark Academia
After my last post about the lack of representation in academia, I felt it neccessary to provide some examples of what I’m talking about. Obviously there are more countries in the world than I can list and provide books for, so for a quick list this is what I got. !! Keep researching !! If you have any more books by POC please reply them !! If a country isn’t listed, that doesn’t mean it’s not important, this is just what I could get together real quick. If I made any mistakes, please let me know, we’re all learning. We need to help each other end eurocentrism in academia, so value representation and educate yourselves 💓💓💓

Day 72/100 days of productivity 🌿🦋✨
Today was okay :) I was feeling super run down so I didn’t get as much done as I’d have liked to but I still accomplished lots from my to do list! I’m going to go to bed early and get up at seven tomorrow in order to get some extra stuff done ☺️
18th July - What do you usually do during the summer?
Well, normally I sleep until noon and do absolutely nothing except eat so I’m hoping to make this summer the exception! I’d really like to be productive and active this summer instead of wasting it away sitting on the sofa. I think I’m doing alright so far! ☺️🌿
