NEWSIES HEADCANONS (kloppman)

1. Every so often, he has to check the boys' hair for an outbreak of lice, most of the boys end up falling asleep on him

2. He has a little first aid box kept under his desk that he only uses when somebody is seriously hurt.

3. He never forgets a single face or name that comes to the boarding house.

4. When somebody's being too loud he sends them to the "naughty corner" no matter their age purely for the lols 😭

5. Him and skittery are locked tf in.

6. Has received "worlds best grandpa" mugs a few times.

7. Has a really good sense of humour, gets pranked all the time by the boys

8. Does the long ahh "back in my day" rant every morning, and everybody knows it word for word

9. Will often give the boys random moments of physical contact because he knows he may be the only caring adult in their life

10. Will confiscate bottles of alcohol, not because they aren't allowed it, but because he wants it. Kloppmans a diva tbh

Dutchy/ specs headcanons 👅

1. Once he moved out, dutchy dyed his hair brown because everybody kept asking if he was albino 😭

2. Specs glasses constantly have tape around the middle because every time he gets them fixed, somebody accidentally breaks them just hours after

3. Specs and dutchy love all things fantasy (like DND), so they created their own board and characters out of paper and a pencil. They finish selling as quickly as they can so they can get back and play again.

4. Dutchy frickin loves ice cream, so he made friends with the local ice cream shop owner and they give him free ice cream from time to time

5. Specs is really bad at personal space, like he could practically be sat on top of you and not notice that he's too close.

6. Dutchy is seen as quiet and unproblematic, so people say contravential stuff/ ahut talk infront of him and don't think twice about it, dutchy will then feed back to Specs and everybody will wonder how the secret got out.

7. Dutchy suffers from constant voice cracks, they are the bane of his existence

8. Specs flirts with the nuns because he's used to flirting with people to get something. He only ever gets a scolding, though, and he gets bullied because of it.

9. Specs calls dutchy goldie locks just to piss him off

10. Dutchy calls specs, speccy just to piss him off

NEWSIES HEADCANONS (Crutchie edition))

1. He is the most freckled person ever, like he is just coated in freckles.

2. He's a naturally quiet person until he laughs, when he does its full throttle and SO loud. He can't control it

3. His laugh is WAY funnier than the joke, he sounds like a duck 😭

4. His main selling point is by the old people's home, old people just seem to love him and find him adorable so he makes the most profit there

5. He REFUSES to swear, and on the very rare occasion he does he will check around him like its illegal or something

6. His arm he holds the Crutch in is really strong due to holding himself up, once the lodging house was having arm wrestling competitions and everyone was so shocked by his strength

7. Before he chose the name crutchie he was called "bambi" because he looks like a little deer

8. Once, when he was absaloutly exhausted, he let Jack carry him to his bed. They're not allowed to talk about it. EVER.

9. Due to his Crutch he looks shorter than he actually is, so once in a while he leans against something and stands fully upright to remind everyone that he's tall

10. He admires races unpredictability and how exiting his life sounds. Every day, he waits up for race to get back so he can hear about all the crazy shit he did that day

Female hotshot headcanons

- She's taller than almost all of the boys at the lodging house, and it pisses them off SO BAD 😭

- The only time she was ever really acknowledged as a girl was when she wore a dress to the rally. The other boys were reminded that she was a girl because she had always just been "one of the boys"

- She sees spot as her little brother. She's constantly checking up on him, making sure he's eating, ect, because he's always preoccupied with everybody else

- She tells the younger newsies incorrect things about girls, i.e., girls can't burp, etc. because she's the only girl in their life, so they believe her.

- At first, she didn't know that girls could be newsies, so she cut her hair and pretended to be a boy (mulan type shit)

- when there's a spider in the lodging house, she always captures it and chases newsies that are afraid of spiders around with it

- hotshot and Deck have insaine chemistry

NEWSIES HEADCANONS (part 2)

1. Race is terrified of fish, so when he's being annoying, spot will dangle him off the harbour over the water to "let the fish get him," and he freaks out every time

2. When Jack is annoying tf out of davey, he will grab his suspenders, pull them, and let go so they smack him (if u get what I'm trying to say 😭)

3. Races lucky card is the 8th of diamonds and he carries it around in his pocket

4. Mush CONSTANTLY steals Blinks hat off his head and runs away with it, thinking it's the funniest thing ever

5. Crutchie and race are constantly getting told off by kloppman because once its lights out, they get the giggles and can't stop😭

6. Mush the typa guy to find EVERYTHING funny, like he is so easily amused and easy to make laugh

7. Skittery is really unpredictable, like he'll be like "Guys watch this," and just jump into the splits or something 😭

8. Because spot has a common dog name, race always makes fun of it by throwing a stick for him and calling him "Good boy," and he gets SO mad

9. Skittery deffo twists every word ever said it to him to make the person look bad. Somebody would be like "omg this apple is huge." And he's be like "did u just say I'm huge?" When he heard them FINE 😭

10. When spot has someone he doesn't like join his crew he gives them a horrible nickname like "spunk" or something 😭

- No matter how evil and terrifying spot may portray himself to be, Jack will always see him as his baby brother, who is just misunderstood

- Jack taught spot how to swim one day when they were younger, and spot will be forever grateful as now he can swim with his brooklyn newsies

- Jack always ruffles spots hair and spot goes ballistic everytime

- Jack would never admit it, but he's incredibly jealous of spots power and loyalty

- when spot and jack drink together, Jack will act all though and drink more because "he's older", but has a much lower tolerance than Spot and will get hammered and spot will have to take care of him

- once Jack got a haircut and spot laughed so hard that he cried, so Jack wore his hat everyday until it grew back

- everybody bullies spot for his height, but Jack is the WORST for it.

- modern au: I can imagine them both being football captains for the manhattan team and the brooklyn team.

- Jack underestimates spots strength ALL THE TIME, like he expects him to be weak and gets battered when he decides to piss him off

- Jack constantly tries to confiscate the sling shot off him

- they go to each other for genuine, tough love advice

SPRACE HCS

1. When race is too tired to get up in the morning (he is not a morning person) spot will just carry him round on his hip whilst he gets ready and does errands until race can be bothered to stand.

2. When talking too eachother they use last names ALOT

3. Constantly bicker over whose taller

4. They both get a kick out of pretending to not know/like each other around other newsies

5. Race always starts tickle fights but always ends up losing (somebody write this as a fic and tag me because that's so cute)

6. Once accidentally swapped suspenders for a day, whilst leaving in a rush

7. Bullying as a type of flirting or the sappiest shit you've ever heard

8. Race is always doing something "for the plot," and it drives spot insaine, trying to keep him from doing something dumb.

9. When race is mad spot will use "pretty" or "baby" to get Race to melt back into his arms

10. Spot loves Races eyes and thinks about them all the time

1. Mush is literally the CLINGIEST person EVER, like if he likes you, that's it,he is physically latched onto you whenever you're around.

2. When race goes to see spot in his lodging house (he has to climb to up to a window so nobody sees), he always calls spot a princess in a tower and it drives him INSAINE.

3. Skittery is the typa guy to just randomly start laughing and giggling hysterically out of nowhere, and everybody just kinda stares at him (he's a little insaine, but that's okay)

4. Davey was on the debate team when he was at school, but his speeches were always too long, and he got frustrated when he couldn't get his point across fast enough ao he quit (that happened to me)

5. After almost every race, Race goes down and tries to convince the owner to let him go pet the horses,they only said yes once and he won't let it go

6. In Brooklyn, if somebody is refusing to get out of bed in the morning spot will literally just pick them up and throw them off the docs into the water outside 😭

7. Davey and his dad have the most unbreakable bond ever.

8. Jack picks up on 'fancy' words davey uses and then uses them incorrectly when talking.

9. Crutchie is the WORST sleep talker ever. He just babbles in his sleep but doesn't say anything that makes sense

10. Blink has no filter at all. The first thing that comes into hisbdead is said out loud. Good or bad.
