I'm currently in Europe visiting the in-laws, but all I can think about are my huskies back home 😭 I miss my babies 💔 can't wait to hug them again in a week
hey actually
punz being dream’s Actual right hand, more than sapnap and george ever were, retroactively gives meaning to punz being the one who took wilbur’s first two lives
instead of “and punz is also here” it’s dream trusting punz to take out the threat and enable wilbur’s eventual final death while he gives tommy his undivided attention
We don't talk enough about the reasons why people deemed c!Dream such a threat: his terrifying combination of intelligence and skill. It's undeniable that he was one of the best at pvp on the server, even from the very beginning—pair that with his almost obsessive resource-gathering, and you create something deadly. He knows what he's doing. Remember, these people live in a world where physical power is arguably more important than political (or at least to a greater extent than in the real world), where a single person with the ability and the materials can lay entire nations to waste. Justified or not, you can understand why L'Manberg was so scared of him.

We as a society (fandom) do not talk enough about wilbur's first introduction to dream because it's actually hilarious, and we do not talk about the Minecraft dream cult enough
For context, this is from, like, April of 2020 (a solid few months before the whole pizza hut date fiasco). You can watch the video here, and the time stamp for this particular realm is around 19:25
If you don't know, essentially, wilbur did a video where he stole from his subscriber's Minecraft realms, and one of said realms ended up being a """cult""" (in heavy quotations bc it wasn't actually... it's Minecraft) for dream. wilbur goes in, he's on edge, and he has no idea what's going on—he just wants to steal and move on to the next realm.
Anyway, watch the video if you want. What's really funny is that wilbur had no idea who dream was at the time, so it was just some eerie Minecraft realm to him.
A few months later, tommy & tubbo join the dsmp, and wilbur via tommy asks dream on a pizza hut date, and you know the rest. I wonder if wilbur ever connected the dots between dream and the realm.
If you think about it, the idea of wilbur interacting with a creepy cult then meeting the figure of said cult, only to have his first reaction be to ask said person out on a date, is kinda funny.

The contrast in daedalus… Dream trying to manipulate Sam into doing what he wanted, but Dream also just wanting to vent his feelings; his anger. Wanting Sam to understand how badly he hurt him.
There's a definite shift somewhere along the way, where Dream transitions from that bitter, mocking side from the first stream to something more pragmatic and cold. It's not both at once; it's a conscious switch. It's as if he realized that he would never get through to Sam on any emotional level. Which was fine, he told himself; Dream was a pragmatist. He cut his losses and moved on. But abandoning all hope of an honest conversation, one of the only times he opened up—that couldn't be an easy call to make.
