my version of horrortale yellow :)

i'm not currently planning to think about this au too often, so here's an info dump of ideas i came up for it

- set in a neutral run where flowey successfully trapped clover within his mind. they're forced to face twisted version of all their friends, forever

- the monsters don't turn to dust immediately, their bodies are given time to rot and decay. no one bothers to clean up bodies anymore

- the monsters bleed because floweys also taking horrors from clovers mind/memory/imagination and applying it there. because of this, some things fail to make sense

- clover wakes up from "resets" like waking up from a bad dream, only to relive it again

- starlo's a literal starfish here, and the way you "kill" him is by shooting off his vital limbs one by one to keep them from attacking until they regrow (which would happen in the span of a few turns)

- martlet has mechanical/prosthetic legs, as well as non-functional wings because a couple of hungry monsters attacked her once before. sometimes she falls over and begs clover to help her back up. if they don't, she'll drag herself around, and somehow, she always manages to find her way back to them...

- chujin's last wish to ceroba before he turned to dust was to use his body so that kanako can go to sleep that night with a full stomach
