Existentialism: life doesn’t have meaning inherently, so find and follow your own purpose! Whatever has meaning to you is what matters :D
Nihilism: life has no meaning, and trying to find meaning is a waste of time. Love it or hate it, that’s just how it is. Do what you want bc nothing matters.
Absurdism: life has no meaning, trying to find meaning is pointless, but fuck it I’m gonna enjoy it anyway so taKE THAT, LIFE >:D

You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too loud, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you lose your edge.
— Danielle LaPorte
I absolutely adore the dark academia aesthetic and its community - there is something so beautiful and romantic and poetic about simply learning and loving to learn. BUT I want you all - academics or not - to keep something in mind.
My mother said, “Life is like a juggling act. Everything is it’s own distinct ball. You’re juggling all these things, and sometimes, you’ll drop them. Grades, research, activities....these are all tennis balls. If you drop them, that’s okay. They’ll bounce back. It might take a second, but they will. There are two, however, that are made of beautiful crystal. These are your health and your relationships. If you drop these, they will not bounce: they will shatter. Which is why it is crucial that you always take care of yourself, and let those that you love know that you love them.”
It’s going to be okay. I know school is stressful, but please don’t despair. It will bounce back. And as my father says, “It’ll be alright in the end. And if it’s not alright, then it’s not the end.”
Take care, loves
