Today,Daniel was going to do an interview about the new Harry Potter movie on late night show with Conan O’Brien and he was rather nervous about it for two reasons.

First because it was going to be his first on that show and second because he knew they were to ask about her and he would get all flustered.

Now you may ask,who is she?Only y/n.For Daniel she was a star,the brightest of all.She was so beautiful,her hair is shiny and dark like the sky but her eyes are light like the sun but what Daniel really love is her personality,she’s quiet but once you get to know her,she will be an Angel.She will help you with everything and will be the sweetest person ever.

She makes Daniel feel like a fool because he loves her and he’s sure about that but just can’t tell her because he’s afraid to lose her friendship.

They had just called Daniel to the stage and he was very nervous,everyone could see that,so when Conan started asking questions,Daniel was very glad.

“Welcome Daniel,I’m so glad to see you here” said the host while shaking Daniel hands.

“Thank you for inviting me here,it’s a pleasure” said the boy while trying to call his hands that were shaking.

“So,Harry potter is really big right now,the new movie is going to be out soon and I lot of people are expecting a lot from it,so tell me,how do you feel with a lot of people knowing you?is it strange?how do you feel?” Conan said while looking to Daniel and the crowd.

“It feel a bit weird,when I went to Japan there were three thousand people waiting for me there and it was crazy because It was so much people,I think I still haven’t go used to it,you know,a bunch of people knowing me even tho I don’t know them” Daniel said with his strong British accent.

“Three thousand people!Wow,that’s a lot of people.But now let’s talk about the girls” the host said laughing a bit while the crowd make laughed too.

“Sure,we can talk about that” Daniel said laughing because he was very nervous.

“Does the girl follow you?I imagine that they are crazy for you,I mean you a very attractive young men.Has any fan or girl caught you eyes?” Conan said while leaning a bit in Daniel’s direction.

The whole crowd went crazy,some laughing,some making noises,some really interested in the answer and some girl screaming for him,while Daniel just laughed.

“Well…they are some fans that are crazy,but I don’t know,I’m not really thinking about dating right now”he said while moving in his chair,trying to get comfortable.

“Ok but what about you co-star,y/n?in this movie your characters are going to be a couple and i know a lot people that to happen in real life,what about you?” Conan said while smiling at the blush in Daniels face.

“Yes,our characters will be together in the new movie and y/n it’s a whole another story” he said while drinking a bit of water to hide his red cheeks.

“A whole another story?i mean she’s great” the host said while looking at Daniel.

“She’s ugh” said Daniel,not even Able to describe her in a word.

The whole crow made sounds of “oh” while Conan asked Daniel to tell him more.

“I mean,y/n is perfect and she always has been but now she has this face that looks like she hasn’t slept in days and I find that so attractive and I don’t know why” said the boy.

“We love women that are deprived of sleep right?”joked the host while laughing “so how it was like to kiss her for this movie?”

“It wasn’t really as uncomfortable as I thought it would be.We are really friends and we know each other for a quite long time.It feel nice,I think.I’m not going to say that it was normal because it wasn’t,it just fell natural,you know” said Daniel with a smile in his face while remembering the day they recorded that scene.

“So do we get to see more of your characters together?or maybe you two together?” Said Conan,looking at Daniel.

“Yes,there will be more of Harry and y/c/n together but about me and y/n together,she’s my best friend,we are not a couple” The boy say while chuckling a little.

The comes to an end after a bit but the only thing in Daniels mind is that he knows that y/n and him are definitely more then friends,other wise you wouldn’t be waiting for him to come to his apartment so you could “hang out”.

“Hi.”

“Hi?”

The boy standing above me held both the arrogant air of a rich kid and the awkwardness of an only child who didn’t get a lot of social interaction at a young age. It was a jarring mixture, leaving me a bit less guarded than before. The April edition of Seeker Weekly dropped closer to the table. I was beginning to wonder whether or not the conversation was going to continue or if he was just going to stare down at me.

“Do- do you need something?”

The boy cleared his throat, ruffling dark curly hair with a hand before refocusing on my face. “I’m Harry. Harry Potter.”

I wasn’t exactly sure why he felt the need to give his full name, as if seeing him wasn’t enough recognition. Apparently my long pause before reciprocating made him escalate the introduction. I didn’t even have a chance to offer my own name before he was speaking again.

“The, uh, chosen one?”

“Is that supposed to impress me?” The abrupt snicker and cutting sarcasm that slipped past my lips came off colder than intended. I watched as an array of emotions mingled behind his glasses before settling on a frustrated embarrassment.

“Well, yes actually,” He sassed to himself.

A clear laugh escaped my lips. I felt guilty, seeing the boy’s cheeks flare a bit brighter. “Maybe I think there are more important things than having a hard life forced upon you.” I shrugged, noticing the thought weave through the boy’s mind. His head tilted to the side, making him look a bit like a puppy. The comparison brought a smile to my face. “Or maybe I just think it’s a really lame pick-up tactic.”

To this he blushed once again, but laughter followed it. I nudged the empty chair across from me with my foot. With ease he dropped into it, rubbing his scar with a pinched expression. “Is it really that bad?”

“Awful. I hate to break it to you, but the whole using your full name to seem suave or important only works for James Bond,” I giggled, leaning forward onto my elbows.

“James Bond? Why is that name familiar? Is he in our year?” Harry asked.

My laugh joined the jovial echoes of The Three Broomsticks, barely drawing a glance as the other tables got louder in response. To my surprise, a waitress came by with full mugs, frothy foam nearly spilling over the sides. Harry seemed to realize the laughs weren’t at his expense, but due in part to his boyish charm and genuine confusion. A soft smile rested on his face. It pushed a sigh out of my lungs. Completely shocked by my own response, I took a sip from my fresh drink, thankful for something to hide behind.

“You can’t just leave me hanging,” Harry chuckled. Then he added, with a snarky tease, “Don’t tell me that’s what they call you?”

“Sorry to disappoint, but I am not in fact a muggle international super spy,” I shook my head slowly.

“My aunt! Of course. She loves those movies. She likes how posh the spy is,” Realization dawned on the boy’s face. Smiles lingered on our faces, the conversation drifting into silence in the busy pub. Thoughts swirled through my mind, mimicking the patterns my fingers lazily drew through the condensation on the glass. Above all, I continued to wonder what famous Harry Potter was doing sitting across from me. There wasn’t a test coming up, so notes weren’t his goal. From what I understood, he had all the friends and academic help he could want. No clear reason came to mind. And it was famous Harry Potter. There had to be some reason he’d waste time talking to me.

“Heh, I, um… I don’t suppose muggle action movies are why you came over here…” I began, feeling completely unsure of myself, “So, what can I help you with?”

I was acutely aware of the twitch in his expression. I wasn’t sure what I’d just shattered, but a clear crack went through the boy’s resolve. His green eyes suddenly full of disappointment. The awkward nature of the exchange seeped into the air and I jumped forward with the conversation, unwilling to let him feel any sort of negative emotion on my behalf.

“I just mean that, it’s unlikely for you of all people to waste your time talking to me. And I doubt you wanted to chat about muggle films. So unless you came over here just to impress me, which-”

“And what if I did?”

My head popped up. I’d experienced the sass of Harry Potter multiple times, covering my laughs in order to avoid detention from Snape or Umbridge. However, this was something else. Akin to sass but much smoother than his usual biting tone. An immediate blush took over my face as he smiled at me over his cup. A new smile I’d never seen; cheeky and charming. I wasn’t sure what to do with him or myself. It was as if I’d short circuited. But as soon as he began snickering, furthering my embarrassment, I seemed to come back to myself.

“Did a pretty shit job then,” I smirked, taking another drawl of the butterbeer. He laughed, nearly spewing butterbeer out of his nose. Soon the two of us were nearly collapsed on the table, consumed in our laughter and unable to look at one another without cackling again. It took many deep breaths and quick glances to steady ourselves. My fingers flicked mindlessly between the pages of Seeker Weekly laying forgotten on the table.

“So besides my shit job at impressing you, how is this going?” Harry nervously finished off his drink.

“Depends. If your goal was only to impress me, I’d say it’s a Dreadful, boarding on Troll.” The corners of my mouth never downturned as I spoke, “But, say your goal was to talk to me and make a path towards actually impressing me… well, you’re in Exceeds Expectations range. Could be an O.”

Harry took a moment to think, hand running through messy curls. His eyes flicked around the room and down to the table before looking back up at me. A mischievous glint stole the thoughts from my mind. I was nearly struck dumb as a wide grin spread across his face.

“Have you ever ridden a Firebolt?”

“You’ve done it Potter. Outstanding.”

“So I take it, you'd like to go for a ride?”

“Well I can’t let ‘chosen one’ Harry Potter fail at his mission to impress me.”
