I'm back on my Sun emperor bullshit

The first meeting between Lloyd and the emperor (Kai does not remember Lloyd at this point)

I like to think that Sun emperor would be a manipulator, faking a warm and welcoming attitude to his eventual subjects (if subject refuses to cooperate they will get scorched)
