The Garden (system term)
The Garden is a Headspace Location term which refers to the area in headspace where headmates initially form . In a system that has a garden, when a special interest(s) // hyperfixation(s) becomes especially prevelant, a seed is planted in the garden . The greater the interest, the more the seed thrives and grows . As time goes on, these seeds will grow into plants . When a split or formation occurs, the plant blooms at that exact point, and the new headmate is brought into full formation . Some plants may never bloom, while others may grow rapidly, being planted one hour and brought into full bloom the next -- it depends upon the system . A system may have a headmate who tends to the garden to keep it in check -- this headmate may be called a gardener or gardenkeeper . The gardener may prevent plants from growing too quickly, thus quelling rapid headmate formation . The gardener will also tend to the already bloomed plants and keep them healthy, as these directly affect the status of each headmate and vice versa . If the system lacks a gardener, it's possible that headmates will form at overwhelming speeds, especially if one is neurodivergent + very attached to their special interests // hyperfixations . Without a gardener, headspace may experience a sort of innerworld earthquake (which may be referred to as a seedquake or gardenquake) as half-formed headmates struggle to make their way up and out of the ground of the garden . When a system is experiencing heightened emotional levels, whether positive or negative, this can potentially act as a a sort of speed-up for sprouts, or even seeds that haven't broken the surface yet . This is referred to as emo-bonemeal, or emotion bonemeal, due to how it causes the plants to thrive . my dears, i identify with some transid // transbody terms but ,,,
there is a HUGE difference between wanting // feeling like my guts should be made out of candy and my eyes should be pink, etc. etc. and wanting // feeling like one should be a different race, or differently abled . i do not condone the spread of hate and violence, but i also do not condone transability and transraciality . there's probably other not good ones i'm forgetting (if there is, pls feel free to let me know) ,,,, but i digress . the idea that one can "transition" to another race, another ethnicity, another culture the idea that one can "transition" to being disabled is FOUL . because no, if you were born a certain race, that is your culture- that is your heritage- you can choose to be disconnected from it, and be really interested in other cultures, but you cannot claim to be another race entirely . i am like- so white- like really white- (i haven't dna tested, but my mum has, nd most of her heritage is from like- germany-) and as a white person, i am saying LEAVE THE OTHER CULTURES ALONE !!! you are NOT transafrican, or whatever you want to call it, you need help from a therapist . and being transabled ?? is virtually a mockery of disabled people . disabilities are not cool, they are not something that you can just decide to be . as a partner of someone with disabilities, i've seen how much they can affect your ability to basically function, and to just decide to say "hey, so actually, i'm somethimthisehitimeithin-about-limbs-and-i-don't-remember-any-of-the-disability-words-but-yk" like- no . you're not . you have a well-oiled perfectly functioning body . put the mobility aids and your sticker collection away . actually, yk what ?? DONATE those mobility aids to someone who NEEDS them .
all that being said, there's the mental aspect of it let's start with systems once again--there's a HUGE difference between having or being a headmate who is of a different ethnicity // race than the body xx having or being a headmate with abilities than that of the body and everything i've said above because that's actually a different person, not just someone whose thought process is wonked . then there's like- mentally ill mental illness- like i'm talking a little lady strolling around thinking that she's a mexican deadlifter--she is going to physically harm herself trying to do things, because whatever's in her brain has gotten so twisted that she is convinced of something physically impossible in the end, i hope everybody can jsut- open their eyes and we can all be happy together and wish we all had star pupils and not that we were born a different culture ,,, if you got this far, thanks for reading <3 it's almost 1:20am, i should probably get to bed-

No, splits are not *only* caused by severe/extreme trauma. After the disorder is formed your brain will split as it feels is needed. Someone's for stress, sometimes to lessen the load of another trauma holder ect. If you are hyperfixating or watching a show and have strong feelings about a character it's possible that new split or fragment will attach to that characters identity. Stop Fakeclaiming and bring assholes to people who split easily, often, or are fictive heavy. You are only causing harm. Stop fucking Fakeclaiming in general. YOU ARE ONLY CAUSING HARM.
