Hey just wanted to give you a heads up about art commission scammers. Your art is clearly good enough for real people to want commissions, but there are a lot of scammers targeting artists on tumblr. They're trying to get access to stuff like paypal accounts by manipulating people into sending them a password reset code or something similar. Their success rate is not very high, but at the very least they will waste your time.

Some signs a person might be a scammer:

Blank or mostly blank blog

Types in a weird generic way, like "Hello. Interesting art. Are you available for commission? Dm."

Numerous exchanges with artists they've contacted, all worded in a similar way. User "humongousbarbarianinternet" is a good example of this

Obviously if crypto/NFT comes up you should bail immediately

They often ask for pet portraits.

I have heard about these hackers, when I first received such a comment the first thing I did was run to consult with a friend, so nobody can't fool me like that anymore, ha! Hey!! Happy belated New Year! How are you? I don't know what moved me at that moment, but I drew Lars Ulrich as an icon, lol. Yes, he is truly an icon, dad, I love him.
