Train rides like this are always so quiet.

Ichika clutches onto her bag and sits on a train, watching as it slowly empties out as she gets closer to her destination.

Tsukasa-san is there too, a comforting arm around her.

It’s just them for now, they were the only ones available when the call came to the Tenma house.

Saki’s on a respirator. Breathing through a tube.

Her parents are driving over, and Ichika and Tsukasa are sitting on a train.

There’s nothing to talk about. Nothing to react to.

There’s a comforting squeeze on her arm. She’ll be fine. Saki’s always been fine.

But Tsukasa-san’s face is painfully neutral. He doesn’t have the energy to smile.

It’s not like Ichika can blame him. Who could smile like this?

He’ll be smiling soon enough. He’ll fake a smile and cheer Saki up like he always does.

And Tsukasa-san takes a breath as they approach their station, putting on that fake smile as he leaps out of his seat, extending his hand to her.

“Come on, Ichika! Saki needs us! Turn that frown upside down!”

And Ichika takes a deep breath and tries to lift her lips, but Tsukasa-san’s face makes it clear that she’s not smiling.

“It’s okay.” He says. “I’ll smile for both of us.”

Haru stares at her reflection. It’s odd to see her face not framed by thick curls anymore, and the jagged uneven cuts of hair, now dyed pink, aren’t pleasing to look at, but at least she doesn’t look like herself.

There are several things everyone in Japan knows about Haru Okumura at the moment: She is one of the Phantom Thieves, she is responsible for her father’s death, and she has recently purchased a train ticket and fled to her home in the countryside before her assets were frozen.

This is based off concept art, what if Touma was temporarily an antagonist? He has yellow eyes in his concept art, and in Persona, that usually means Shadow. And so this spiraled into a full-blown social link with places you can break, which have also been written out.
