Could you or anyone explain to me in very simple terms why the death penalty is even being considered? He was neither caught there nor is he currently in a state that enforces the death penalty. (?!) i don’t live in the U.S., so I don’t understand the legal system.
♥️
let's just say that Trump is an absolutely heartless soulless moron who should be fried to death. he believes that the way of life is tit for tat, an eye for an eye. he brought back the pursuance of the death penalty at the federal level earlier this year when he came back to power because he thinks that the death penalty should be the answer to all violent crimes and that that would somehow make america safe again, as attorney general Bondi said even today.
as for why they're pursuing it for Luigi specifically, it's because they want to make an example out of him. this is also why they're pursuing the charges of terrorism in the state case. they're scared shitless. they see Luigi's alleged actions and the public's continuous support as a sign for the eventual breakdown of the hypercapitalist american society as they know it.
they do NOT want that to happen because how else would they become billionaires and have trillion dollar companies and pay a healthcare insurance leech ceo millions each year in blood money. they're so scared they're ready to kill him right now if they could. but they're ready to wait for whatever semblance of due process Luigi would be getting in a court of law. they're ready to risk the public seeing Luigi as a martyr but they don't care.
all they care is about how to make an example out of him so that all their blood sucking leech ceos and the top 1% can once again sleep in peace.
