Abaddon

They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon. – Rev 9:11

In Rev., he is said to arise after the fifth trumpet. In The Keys of Solomon, Abaddon is said to be the spirit that Moses invokes to bring destructive rains.

Abaddon and Death say, ‘With our ears we have heard a report of it.’ – Job 28:22

The Living Sacrifice

The Living Sacrifice

Fear comes from ignorance, and ignorance is the cause of repeat transgressions. This was where the belief of torturing animals and children (specifically focusing on animals in this article) for satanic purposes arose from. With no help from several renown practitioners such as Aleister Crowley, who is a whole other thought on it's own...

Fear of witchcraft led to a lot of makebelieve as well, as in animal sacrifice, just as in biblical times, was done in honor of the diety and to show devotion through sacrifice of ones needs. The act of sacrificing to the devil was a blasphemy in itself, and I do not believe butchering livestock for the sake of butchering was ever the intent. This stemmed from folklore and word of mouth alone, and those that were convinced this was how it was to be done then preformed it out if ignorance. Which leads to mental instability and demonic influence, again, another thought.

In no way should you need to or should you ever harm animals to appeal to the demonic. In fact the only attention you will receive from this are the lesser sprits with untamed and insanity driven natures. A humane sacrifice in which you give offering after a kill in which you partake of for sustenance will be honourable, as you're giving that which you require, a part of you, not the animal, the animal isn't the purpose of the offering.

If you're looking for something with more impact than a one time offering of flesh, raise an animal the specific demon you call to familiarizes with. Having a creature in your care specific to this purpose, and treating it with respect and dignity will most definately gain you attention in their favor.

And like a parent raising a child, if your care for the creature is inadiquate, they will take it away from you.

Just because goat sacrifices and bathing in their blood is symbolic doesn't mean it's useful or holds and actual purpose. If you're going about black magick for show then you will fail 100% of the time, whether it seems that way or not.

Moral of the story being don't abuse people, animals, or anything inbetween. If you're going about killing crows because the demon you call to masquerades as a crow, aren't you just disrespecting their name? Food for thought.
