Ft @eatmeandbirthmeagain voicing Aussie!Saladin
Y'all think Baldwin and Varre would be besties?
im sick again so i apologize for my absence in texts :((
Can I please ask you a question? Why did king Baldwin IV of Jerusalem threatened to destroy mosque?
im not entirely sure but researching a bit it looks like he intended to do so because of a talk with his council on the next course of action, after saladin had abandoned an ongoing seige but provided no truce which was.. suspicious.
before the threat on the mosque baldwin was already making his way through Saladins territories, and eventually capturing (?) Cave de sueth.
after the capturing, he had made the threat.
