My husband once asked me why I ship Jin with Honoka so much, stating that they had nothing in common and I listed the reasons why:

1. They’re both good people born w/ bad powers

2. They both have antagonistic dads

3. Both have dysfunctional families

4. Both have blood relation to major characters

5. Both apologetic attackers

6. Jin didn't know who his father was up until Tekken 4. Honoka is still unaware who her father his.

7. Both were raised by their grandparents. Jin was partially raised and trained by Heihachi, while Honoka was raised by her grandmother all her life.

8. Mr. and Ms. Fanservice.

Natsu/Outer Moka  Oneshot

Moka: Do you think I’m pretty?

Natsu: No

Moka: Do you want to be with me forever?

Natsu: No

Moka: Would you cry if I disappeared?

Natsu: No

Her green eyes widen in shock, her beating heart aching at the words that came from his own mouth. She felt her eyes sting with tears as she continued to stare at his blank expression. Deciding that she had heard enough, she gave a small nod and silently walked away. However...at that moment, Natsu grabbed her arm. Feeling the warmth of his skin against hers, Moka turned to him in confusion.

Moka: What are you-

Her sentence was cut short when the unexpected happened. Moka felt herself being pulled into his chest, his arms wrapping themselves around her. A gasp escaped her lips as Natsu warmly embraced her in his strong arms.

Moka: Natsu?

Natsu: I don’t think you’re pretty, Moka. I think you’re beautiful.

Moka: Natsu…

Natsu: I don’t wanna be with you forever, I need to be with you forever. And as far as disappearing goes, I wouldn’t just cry. Hell, I’d even die if you were to disappear on me.

Moka’s tears of joy started streaming themselves down her delicate face, her heart swelling with love and happiness.

Moka: Oh, Natsu.

Natsu gave her one of his endearing grins that made Moka’s heart flutter.

Natsu: So stay with me, kay?

Moka smiled back, a blush spreading across her face.

Moka: Okay, Natsu. I will.

Natsu leaned down and kissed her passionately, causing Moka to let out a moan as his tongue danced against hers...

As a normal human being that writes crossover fanfics, I’m just going to be brutally honest, even though I do receive a huge amount of backlash for this. I’ve never really been a canon main guyxmain girl shipper. In my PERSONAL opinion, I never really found anything interesting about them and pretty much find them cliche. It’s not that I have anything against canon ships, they just never really interest me. I always found non-canon crossover pairings to be more appealing and interesting to me, mainly because it’s just for fun and won’t magically become canon out of the blue. People are free to ship whomever they want, because whatever characters that we ship aren’t real and not meant to be taken seriously.
