Genshin Impact Oc - Blog Posts

I realize that I never posted my Genshin Oc and got inspired to do so thanks to @/kayumuo (you guys really should check out her oc, he’s such a cutie) anyway

This is my Genshin Oc, Pumna!! (her name has no meaning, I made it up)

(Fyi, that’s not a tail, just a fabric that looks like the tail of a yumkasaur)

Pumna is a 5 star bow user with a geo vision.

So basically she was a yumkasaurus who was taken care of momentarily by Kinich. Prior to the war, she was experimented on by the fatui as well as other saurians, she ended up becoming human due to it. Shes pretty confident and bold when it comes to her personality, often leading her to underestimate opponents, this of course can be called the Ajaw influence. After becoming human, Pumna does not count on those two anymore and left to do her own thing, searching for any other saurian who might have been in the same situation as her.

For her stats:

Normal attack: She shots multiple arrows in four moves. For the first move she releases one arrow, for the second, she releases two, you get the rest right.

Hold: Geo charged attack like any bow user

Skill: Using her Geo vision, she pulls out arrows from her bracelet (you can see it in the pic) and uses the same move set as normal attack.

Burst (the most important thing that you should focus on when leveling her talents): When her burst is activated, her boots “crystallize” (I couldn’t figure out how to draw it buts its so cool in my head, trust, its like shapes *thumbs up*). She applies powerful hits that deal geo damage onto the enemy.

Exploration: She uses her bracelet like kinich and aims it at where ever she wants to grapple

Passive: When using her, you can interact with saurian npc’s like you would with you indwell within a saurian.

Passive: When in burst mode, anyone in Co-op gains 25% attack buff for a short amount of time; the more nightsoul points she gains, the longer the buff lasts. (I want to give it a dumb name like maybe “Pat on the Back” just for fun)

I have some fun dialogue/voice lines for her so:

About Kinich: “Oh, Kinich! It’s been a while since I’ve visited him… Did you know this scarf—yeah the one with a small bell— was actually a gift from him. When I was a young Yumkasaur, I tended to get distracted by everything, like I mean everything. Noise, something shiny, whatever it was usually caused me to be led astray from him. He got fed up with me constantly running way and no matter how much he got Ajaw to tell me to not go far from them, I could never help myself. Kinich ended up placing this on me in case someone else were to find me so they could return me or for the bell to ring so he could find me on his own…Why do I still have it? So he can hear me coming of course!”

About Xilonen: “Xilonen! Thanks for reminding me, I need to bring back some ores she requested. She was actually the one who helped create my ear muffs, I requested them from her a bit ago when I saved enough mora. Soaring through the winds of the canopy tend to irritate my ears so she came up with a solution. Xilonen is great, actually, do you mind dropping off the ores for me? Thanks.”

About Ajaw: “Did you know I used to purposely do things to get Ajaw in trouble. You can’t blame me, he is SO easy to set off. My favorite thing was to hide my part of the meal and then take his while Kinich wasn’t looking, he of course would get mad at me but Kinich never believed him. Cruel? Please, he doesn’t need to eat… not really at least.”

Favorite food: “Spice! Make it as hot as you possibly can, perhaps even add some liquid phlogiston for a little kick. Don’t look at me like that, I was joking.”

Least Favorite food: “I can’t stand sea food, fine, fish I will eat but anything else? Nope! No way!”

Was seeing this trend go around a while ago and it got me thinking about Vagabond. They're a little different though since, instead of trying to get rid of/hold onto memories through their hair, their hair length instead represents before and after they lose their memories.

Jie: Before they lost their memories.

Introducing my newest Genshin ocs (help I have to many), the Fontaine siblings Beau and Elie!

Beau's an ex-criminal who now works at the docks after getting released from the Fortress of Meropide, and is also an informant for Spina di Rosula.

Elie is an avid adventurer who works with the Fontaine Adventurer Guild branch as a guide for visiting adventurer's from other branches of the guild, helping them navigate the landscapes and oceans of Fontaine.

Sparx (the little flying bot beside Elie) is a meka Elie found broken and fixed up. Sparx is designed to help explorers and scientists navigate the oceans and cave systems of Fontaine by lighting their way.

Elie has a hydro vision, Beau doesn't have a vision.

Vision: Pyro (Formerly), Abyss (Formerly), All (Current)

BACKGROUND

“FOR DAWN TO COME, ONE MUST RID OF THY DARKNESS; FOR DUSK TO COME, ONE MUST LET THE LIGHT FALL INTO THE HORIZON.”

Amari is 10 years older than her brother, Diluc (22), meaning she is 33 years of age. She left her home at the Dawn Winery in search of “Dusk” at the age of 16. She arrived in Snezhnaya shortly after. There she took the liberty of speaking with the Cyro Archon, Tsaritsa, thus gaining her second vision- Cyro. She then travelled to Inazuma, the Land of Eternity, meeting with Baal. This was before the shogun had become twisted, and Amari had established ties- gaining her the Electro Vision. She changed her name from Pythia to Amari. On her way to Natlan, she came across a Mirror Cicin Mage and followed her. The mage bore a child in Wolvendom, Razor, and left the child. Amari decided to raise the child along with the Lupine Pack- whom believe in lupical. She named the silver-haired child Razor and raised him as her own. She was 17 at the time. Razor gained the power of the vision through her and the way to use it. She had taught Diluc the claymore when she was 15 (He was 5 at the time). She then made her way to Natlan 6 years later, and left Razor in the care of Lupus Bóreas, or Andrius. When she arrived in Natlan, she met with Murata- the Lady of Fire. She formed a bond in finding out that she is a Child of Murata, and eventually strengthened her Pyro vision. Amari decided that when she finished her journey, she would join Murata in Natlan. After a solemn goodbye, she made her way to Liyue and met the Adepti along with Zhongli. She gained a Geo vision during the Rite of Descension. On her way to Sumeru, she met a young Lisa and guided her to the Sumeru Academy and gifting her with her first catalyst, Dawn of Starry Nights. Cyno, an old acquaintance of Amari’s, agreed to take Lisa in. She met with the archon and gained yet another vision. The time came for the last stretch of her journey, Fontaine. She played in a circus act to gain the attention of the archon and got herself a Hydro vision. Her journey was over and it was time to return to Natlan. Though, when she was faced with a Dragon of Dimensions, her vision spiraled out of control, plunging her into the deepest parts of the Abyss. She was overtaken the power that lead her to give Ajax the Foul Legacy- The Devouring Deep. She taught Ajax everything she knew and gave him the same Hydro Vision he wears today. After Ajax left, she was freed of her “curse“ and returned to Natlan. She swore never to use all of her visions at once again.
