I have no idea what these are from but I thought y'all would appreciate some pure pjo crack

I am going on a three and a half hour car drive, and here is my list of priorities:

- write more chapters for the life of a short archer (a masonyew story)

- drink water

here is what I have accomplished so far:

- spend ten minutes listening to my friend's completely nonsense voicemail and praying it gets better (it didn't)

- argue with my brother over the correct way to pronounce 'zinc' (yes, like the element on the periodic table. Don't ask) (and yes, there are now apparently two ways to pronounce it. Someone pronounced it as 'seenk' instead of 'zink'. Atrocious)

- explain my English class to my parents after one of them asked how my day went and I launched into an explanation of Act 2, Scene 1 of Much Ado About Nothing (with quotations, yes I am that much of a nerd)

- argue with my brother (again) over sandwiches

- accidentally text my partner a long, sappy rant that I meant to send to a mutual friend, and follow it up by considering to jump out the window as my mother teased me about how bad I was blushing as I frantically deleted it (we've only been together for about three months, maybe four, and I am down BAD and they already have too much blackmail on me)

- stare at my waterbottle like it holds the secrets to life

- spend another ten minutes zoned out listening to music

- write this list

as you can see, I am feeling very productive today 👍🏻🙏🏻

Kayla has the looks of an angel. Bright smile, gorgeous ginger locks, a well-practiced innocent expression, this kid looks like the definition of a trustworthy child you could safely leave you car keys with. Realistically, she will take the car, crash it, leave an IOU note on the bonnet and run off to bully Austin.

Nyssa is a Hephaestus chick, so she's broad and strong and probably has a face like a brick wall half of the time, but actually is the sweetest child on earth unless your name is Leo Valdez. She would hang onto your keys and give you a coffee when you get back, along with a ten minute long explanation on the faults in your exhaust pipe and the name of the nearest car garage. 🔑

Faramir is too adorably oblivious because he's had his head in a book for the last three hours and doesn't know what time it is, and Éomer is trying to shoot his shot while holding back a panic attack over such close proximity to the really cute guy he's been freakishly stalking for the past two weeks. Éowyn and Aragorn are laughing their asses off in the background and Boromir is about to walk around the corner. 🗡️

Again, I think it's pretty obvious. Ty has to focus on processing and showing his emotions, while Kit freaks the fuck out so badly he had to run to another continent because he's emotionally constipated. 🤠

They're at the amphitheater where Jake's sitting down on one row why Michael's on the one above and Michael's just absent mindedly playing with his curls and Jake just fully melted against him. He falls back with his head in Michael's lap and Michael just laughs and Jake's just completely enamored. Leaning into every touch.

Jake fell so hard for Michael, Michael has him completely wrapped and everyone finds it hilarious.

Jake whined when he felt Michael try to pull away. He immediately wrapped his arms around his waist, burrowing his face in the others feathers. Michael jumped,turning his head. "Jake- what are you-" "Rest too…" He grumbled. "Res- I'm fine-" Michael huffed. Jake looked up at him. Whatever look he gave must've been something, because Michael immediately relaxed. The other sighing softly. "Okay Spikes. Move over."

Shifter Jake.

When it first activated so to speak,it was when Jake had been freaked out during one of his first nights at camp. He'd had a nightmare, woke up frantic and instinctively tried to bury under his covers to calm down. He didn't realize he'd shrunk until Charles found him.

After he became lot more careful, trying to avoid it happening again. He didn’t really tell anyone about it. When Michael found out it was when Jake had gotten hurt during during capture the flag and had shifted in a panic once he was away from view.

Charles found him, but Jake couldn't get himself to shift back, so Beck took him to Lee for help. Michael happened to be there too and Lee had him keep an eye on him why he went and got supplies.

Jake was absolutely embarrassed, but Michael didn't say a thing about it. He just pressed a finger gently at his back, trying to numb any pain as he could with his ability (also yeah- the shifting part hurts, they don't have the same body as gods do, so it's straining even if it's natural part of them.)

Jake had already kinda started crushing on him, though he wasn't sure about it until then. After that he was crushing hard. Charles thought it was absolutely adorable.

Michael doesn't tease him as much about it. He's usually pretty gentle with Jake and understanding. Only ever so often does he make a light joke about finally being taller than him.

When Jake finally got the courage to ask Michael out,he panicked when Michael took a moment to respond and accidentally shifted, which only made his embarrassment worse.

Michael however immediately got to his level and gently picked him up.

"You never gave me a chance to answer, Mason."

Poor Jake's a flustered mess hdhdg

Lee, Michael, and Will. I always thought Michael was heavily into the emo scene as a teen, due to his anger issues and height. He pierced his own ear and lip, and tried to do his tongue but Lee stopped him. Will thinks his older bother is the coolest ever and wants him to pierce his ears.

oh gosh I am partially obsessed with the idea of Jake being Michael's safe person for so many reasons, but my personal favourite is because he just knows him.

like if Michael's had a bad day or something and is just completely wasted, flopped on his bunk in cabin seven like a potato and Jake walks in and spots him, he knows what he needs instantly

Michael's convinced Jake is prophetic or something at this point, because he knows exactly what works best for him in every situation even when he doesn't know what he needs

he'll be upset, thinking about spending some time inside cuddling to forget everything, but Jake knows better and drags him outside into the forest, walking amongst the trees and getting him to talk about it until Michael just flops into his arms and vents. And surprisingly enough, he feels a hell of a lot better afterwards and Jake teases him about always being right

but I love the idea that it just confuses Michael so much, because he's looking at Jake like 'how do you know this about me?' and Jake just shrugs

"Boyfriend magic. Let's go bake cookies."

Gods, Michael.” Michael snickered, winking and leaning back, looking back towards Cleo, who had successfully got Max to fire a few shots close to the middle, which was impressive considering he was pretty sure the older boy couldn’t think straight right now. “Shame we’re just friends, then, if you’re that easy to fluster.” He teased, and Jake coughed again, voice still a bit tight. “Yeah, shame.”

Okay- can you imagine au where Michael technically died in a more normal "died for a second but brought back" kinda of way?

Then you get Leo who actually full on brings himself back with non traditional method

And now poor Jake is having a crisis why also having to deal with both his brother and boyfriend who can and will make jokes about their death.

I just wanted to come here to tell you how much I love all your fics. Like it started with chb before depression and that got me absolutely obsessed with Michael x Jake and now I’ve already read ‘get me out of here (I might just take you with me)’ twice and ‘it all started in the laundry room (I’m just the same as you)’ three times even though it’s over 100k and I regularly get the urge to reread it again because it’s just so good (the only reason I don’t is because I know I will binge it and I have school stuff to do right now but it’s only a matter of time until I read it for the fourth time). Really I’m just obsessed with how you write them and your writing in general. Like they are so soft and you somehow manage to find the exact balance between angst and fluff that I love. I am also absolutely obsessed with Em, she is canon to me now. So is Michael having survived the fall from the bridge, cabin 7 needs some happiness

Michael, for the most part, doesn't like people touching him.

There's very few people who he's comfortable with physical contact.

Thing is, to those few people, he's very touchy with.

If one of the Stolls grabbed his arm? He snap at them.

Yet he'll just randomly snuggle up in Jake's lap like it's nothing.

You'll easily find him and his siblings in a cuddle pile in their cabin.

He doesn't even think about it sometimes. Him and Will would be working on something in the infirmary and Michael will just lean on his younger brother why they're looking at something. Or Sits down by one of his siblings laying on their bunk why they're all in the cabin talking and just starts running a hand through his siblings hair.

And it's real common thing for the Apollo cabin. They're very clingy as a family. Small bits of physical affection just how they show their love. They're all kinda like outgoing cats.

But yeah. Jake was taken a back when Michael first got comfortable enough to be physically affectionate. It was before they were dating, and probably before Michael even realized he liked Jake like that.

Michael had came in why Jake was in the forge. Jake had lost track of time and missed two meals and Michael was trying to get him to his cabin to rest.

When it came clear there was something on Jake's mind Michael had gotten him to sit down and talk about it

Jake had started tearing up and,without even thinking, laid his head on Michael's shoulder trying to hide his face from him.

Michael didn't say anything, or move, he just let Jake let out his built up emotions. At some point he started absentmindedly playing with Jake's curls.

Jake was surprised at first, but then leaned into it. Relaxing at the contact.

Later on when they are dating, Jake sits down with Michael after finally getting him to slow down after Lee's death.

Michael breaks down crying, burying his face in Jake's chest. Jake doesn't mind, and just holds him close.

He starts to run his fingers through Michael's hair, and immediately learns that Michael loves having his hair played with.

Michael just leans into it, relaxing even as tears are still falling. Just letting Jake continue the motion until he passes out from exhaustion from the last few days.

Just- Michael being so clingy to those he loves and only accepting physical touch from them one my fav things.

Jake is really bad at restraining from kissing Michael.

Whether it be on the lips,cheek, head,wherever, he just love kissing Michael.

Michael likes to tease him sometimes about it and uses it to his advantage. Like withholding kisses until he gets healed or whatever when he's obviously ignoring his injuries. Having him work for one etc.

Jake pouts but he actually doesn't mind it, Michael isn't a touchy person, so anytime he let's Jake give him any form of affection is a win in his book.

Michael is a great kisser too,always gentle with it. Really for how much attitude and sass he gives in his daily life, he's still very gentle when it comes to affection.

It always makes Jake melt. Michael cups his face in his hands, his touch gentle and warm. His voice quiet when he tells Jake he loves him. In some ways it can feel like Michael is giving Jake the comfort to pull away if he wants to. As if he's still not sure Jake truly adores him like he says. Like he doesn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Of course Jake never pulls away unless he has to. He adore these moments. The times he manages to pull Michael away from work. To unwind and relax. He wraps his arms around Michael. He runs his hands through Michael's hair. He tells him so surely he loves him. That he can rest. He doesn't have to burn himself out to keep others warm.

Michael absolutely melts into Jake's arms, smiling into his kiss and leans into his touch.

Michael's love is a warmth that brushes against you yet is so noticeable to those who look for it. Jake's is a warmth that surrounds you,entirely wrapping around you. Letting you fall into it.

Michael loves like sunlight. Jake loves like fire

Jake is the only one who Michael doesn't mind being flirted with.

Really, Michael gets almost reversely jealous when someone else tries to flirt with him. Even before him and Jake were officially dating.

He didn't think much of it at the time. He just thought Jake was playing around when he did it, and he just was better at it than others.

Lee had to explain to him that maybe only liking when one specific person playfully flirts with you might not be very platonic.

Jake does get actually jealous though. He'll glare daggers with anyone who flirts with Michael. He does not hide it as well as he think he does.

His siblings tease him constantly, especially when he's pouting and glaring across the campfire at someone trying to flirt with Michael and his siblings are just-

"How has no one else figured out you two are a thing yet-"

They're a definition of hiding in plan sight. The closet is glass but by gods the rest of the camp are birds.
