OKAY, finally off work, here is that feedback I promised you.

This is gonna be a picky one because I genuinely love what I’m reading. So we’ll start with the praise! Pacing is flawless throughout, everything flows so naturally together. My favorite instance of this is when the narrator (whoever it may be) shifts from talking about the multiple therapist to the old woman…

“It's as if her thoughts were too "explicit" to render, one man said. But he was a man, not an elderly woman who says she promises to never tell anybody what she doesn't want them to know.”

Some of the imagery described is disturbingly beautiful. The picture of our girl in front of a mirror dropping pills into the sink and listening to the clinks is *chef’s kiss*. The scene that continues after this contains that same charm.

Feedback

As I said I’m gonna have to get a little nit-picky. The line “the thought of her medicine faded as quickly as she came as her eyes began to blur…” reads a little awkwardly. I’m not sure if you meant to just say “the thought of her medicine faded as quickly as her eyes blurred”. I’m not sure what “as she came” is referring to. “Is she dying?” is asked twice. At “her girlfriend speaks to her again, desperately murmuring her name like a praise to gain her attention”, I would find a word other than “murmuring” maybe mumbling. Lastly but certainly not least I would have liked to see more effort from the girlfriend to help our girl out other than “murmuring” her name. Unless this was intentional then ignore me on this.

It was rather early when I wrote that, and I checked over it twice, but I definitely agree with your response! I'm glad you enjoyed the story, as there will be more to come (when I don't spend all night doing random shit). I ain't the best writer, and I always appreciate anything, even a correction or two. "Murmuring" was meant to be there because they were trying not to startle Naomi further, if they shout at her, it would've gone worse. But the "blur" part? I think you can tell I was trying to put a bunch of words together in the end to try and make it make sense.

TW!!: MENTION OF SA AND PANIC ATTACK

She can't rid herself of the stinging feeling of hands brushing over her body like a doll in the making. Like ghosts haunting her as if she stole the treasure they fought so hard to keep. The only thing they fought for was her resistance and disobedience to do what they demanded of her.

She's gone to multiple therapists from her girlfriend's recommendations, and none of them seemed to have the desire to understand her after the third session. It's as if her thoughts were to "explicit" to render, one man said. But he was a man, not an elderly woman who says she promises to never tell anybody what she doesn't want them to know.

But what do they do? The sweet old lady she was beginning to get comfortable with was caught displaying all her notes to the others working during her shift, spilling all of the sensitive information she worked up the courage to tell them. Of course, sneaking a peek through the employees' only door may not have been the wisest decision, but sometimes curiosity gets the best of her.

And curiosity killed her will to seek help.

So now she stands in front of the bathroom mirror, staring down at the pills that fell from the bottle and into the sink, trying to focus on the quiet clinks of each individual pill hitting the metallic dip of the faucet.

Her body is shaking like a leaf, like she would during a cold winter evening out at the park. Her girlfriend loves to take her outside and take her mind off of those aching thoughts plaguing her mind. She appreciates how eager her lover is to be at aid during her most vulnerable moments, but not once has she let herself panic or breakdown in front of them.

Until now.

Chest heaving from uneven breaths, she can barely stand and stare at the tears flowing down her reddened cheeks. It's hard to breathe, hard to think of something other than the hands that waft over her, the clear image of each individual man appearing before her eyes like a flash bang. It doesn't fade.

Her girlfriend noticed the shift of the mattress, the dip of your soft and plush body now gone from their arms. The moment they saw her shaking figure in the bathroom, their legs moved faster than their brain.

"Naomi!" They shout, voice lowering when sleep leaves their mind and is replaced by her. She's hardly able to catch her breath, one hand holding her PTSD medication like her life depended on it. A few are dunked in the sink, crowded around the slightly ajar drain in the center.

"Oh, baby, no..."

They murmur in shock and concern, tone hard to decipher. She can hardly hear them, though. All she hears is the ringing in her ears and her heart traveling up her throat, blocking whatever she could've mustered up to say. Her lover quickly approaches her panicking figure. They notice the small bottle. "Naomi?" She looks over her shoulder, only to see a dark figure looming over her like the devil itself.

Is she dying? Why isn't the medicine helping?

"Sweetheart? Can you hear me, princess?"

The medication, she realized, is the problem. One pill per night, said the psychologist. More or less won't help.

Her brain feels fuzzy. Who is this terrifying being standing before her? Is she dying? The thought of her medicine faded as quickly as she came as her eyes began to blur, and not due to the overwhelming amount of tears. Her girlfriend speaks to her again, desperately murmuring her name like a praise to gain her attention. To no avail.

It's the last thing she hears before her body caves, and the darkness engulfs her.

Okayyyy, so I’m going to make separate posts on each of their lore, which will help make sense of this post, which is just how they feel for each other!!

Both are trauma bonded from their death (did I mention they’re dead btw?:3) and has been along eachother for centuries.

For Yui, it’s simple: she truly loves and cares for Horobosu! After all, she was the one who brought her from the dead, gave her life!! Why wouldn’t she?

For Horobosu, the need to keep Yui close and away from harm comes from a deep, emotional, form of hatred that formed into attachment. Horobosu was (still is) a demon who had tried to kill Yui throughout Yui’s life. She’s been so obsessed with trying to kill Yui and pray on her downfall that she has only TRULY known Yui in her life. Her family, her friends, her favorite foods… Horobosu couldn’t even name one for herself? But could for Yui. She was addicted. Obsessed. She loved seeing her in pain, but only when SHE caused it. So when Yui died, what was she supposed to do? Cause pain on another human soul? That wasn’t the same, wasn’t fair. She wouldn’t waste all her effort all these years. So she brought Yui back to life, because as much as she loves to see Yui suffer, she needs to be close to her. With her, so she isn’t by herself. And she’ll do whatever she can to keep it that way.

TLDR: Doomed lesbians. One loves another, one is a sadistic who wishes to see the other in agony but only by her :3

A cast of characters for my very own fan case! This case takes place soon after the Apollo Justice games, with Apollo and Klavier facing off in this case!

From left to right, we have: Alina Melina, the shy defendant; Trenton Peril, Alina’s gossipy best friend and technically your client; Kuri O’Siti, a grouchy but normal witness (wink wink); Kris Greenwood, a fangirly yet calculating witness; Benny Newman, the victim’s boyfriend; and Brianna Hart, the victim.

They all go to med school together and one night at a party Brianna was killed and Alina was arrested. Brianna had been found in a shed, a wound to her head and a bloody scarf, which belonged to Alina, used to strangle her. Trent went to Apollo and asked him to defend Alina, as she’s his best friend. The details are a bit fuzzy, but so far, I know the trial would last three days with Trent confessing to the crime at the end of day 2 (to protect Alina. He’s quickly proven innocent) anyways, in the end, the killer is revealed to be Kuri, who killed her best friend in order to receive the prestigious internship they’d both fought over. Kuri regrets it heavily and only did it because she didn’t know if a chance like that would ever come again.

Her name is Eleanor and she is one of Joey’s creations :>

she was never really put into the show but instead used as an occasional background character. As if now, she roams the studio in search of Joey, not to cause harm, just to try to figure out who she really is or what meant to be.

Eleanor leaves notes around the studio. Usually positive ones or just blocking unsafe paths and putting a bright X over it. She is quite curious and when Henry arrived, she started following him, eventually giving herself away with her clumsy nature. Obviously, it would have scared Henry due to the fact that most other “people” he’s encountered have tried to attack him but Eleanor, knowing this would keep her distance and just silently help Henry get around the studio safely and collecting things he might need on the journey.

Eleanor doesn’t have the ability to speak. She can make simple noises like laughter and crying but cant speak. Due to that fact, she writes on the walls to communicate. Unlike if she’s just writing her motivational words on the studio walls, she will rub off the ink after she knows whoever she is trying to talk to understands. She most likely does this to avoid others like Alice angel or the ink demon from discovering either her or Henry.

Many years ago, a girl spent her whole life being abused with many injuries. She was playing with a little rabbit that she had as a pet, that was the only way to forget her problems and sadness. Until one day, her parents killed the bunny. She was trying to escape with no success and her parents killed her brutally and burned her remains in a bonfire. In middle of nowhere, the girl and the bunny souls reincarnated together in a single body, they were reborn in a devil woman's one.

She had a long wavy blue hair and dark skin, her eyes was red and her claws was sharp. Now she is on a quest for revenge, desperate to find someone who would love, care and protect her. Her bloodlust was insatiable and she would kill anyone who messed with her.

She is actually hiding her identity, her favorite things are rabbits, blueberries, jellyfishes and gore. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

Itzal's right eye doesn't exist, though I have yet to work out what happened to it. Thinking maybe it got forcibly removed as a trade for something, maybe his scarf? IDK.

Candol's tag definitely has magical properties itself, but I'd imagine his tag would be more focused towards protecting his own magical abilities. Maybe Candol and Itzal have a sort of rivalry that prompted this. Would need to develop that.

Traph definitely has his own way of seeing the world around him. Just on the spot right now, I'm thinking those bands around his face allow him to sense the whole area around him. It'd be really hard to sneak up on him as a result.

Cargo once ran a group of pirates that Cane and Kymera were a part of. However, one day, their ship got wrecked and Cargo was presumed dead, but he came back one day in the port cities of Onion Ocean to the surprise of everyone. By now, Kymera had moved away to do tournament fighting closer to Cookie Country, since Onion Ocean doesn't have many major tournaments. As for what happened to Cane, I'm not quite sure yet.

Huechys and Acrid are brothers! Cytra is a brother as well, but he's not well-liked by the other two and thus does his own things.

the following text is work-in-progress lore stuff i wrote down recently and have copied from where i put it down! i mainly wrote it to tie up some loose ends in my kirby au.

Emotion: A Blessing, Power, and Weapon

Emotion is a fundamental fact of life no matter which way you look at it. It's part of who we are.

On Popstar, other planets, and all of the branching timelines, emotion is so much more: Strong emotion can make or break battles or, in rare cases, influence fate itself.

Not everyone can weaponize their own emotions, much less consciously, and the effectiveness of the power of one's emotions is very inconsistent across individuals. However, a general pattern is that more positive influences on emotions tend to increase the effectiveness of other powers drawn out through such. This isn't always the case, as certain individuals may draw power based on only intensity or may become stronger under negative influences, but it applies to most, especially to those able to do so on Popstar.

Sometimes this manifests as a copycat mutation, as it did with Wakana, whose love for Nova grew so intense that it awoke a new power within her: Nova's Light. Other times it will influence how variants of someone will behave, as all variants of Wakana and Nova love each other in some way. (It's also a major factor on how Parallel Wakana survived her purification process. She should absolutely be dead.)

There's a couple of rules to make this work.

1. You have to completely and genuinely feel the emotions you get powered up by. I'm not sure how to explain it with words, but an example would be like... if Wakana said "i love you" to someone out of fear, that would not trigger her copycat mutation, even if she does feel the love to some extent. It has to be pure, fiery, unbridled emotion that makes all this happen. (There ARE exceptions, like if you're feeling angry at some jerk because they hurt someone you love.) Oftentimes this means more stoic or less expressive individuals can't make use of this quirk. This also means you can't force it to happen at all.

2. Robots with an Energy Core powering them cannot make use of this - only robots that utilize a Soul, even if it's artificial like Nova's. It's unclear why the more cost-effective robots can't do it, but (in-universe) many who are aware of this entire thing have likened it to how bad jobs that prioritize money no matter what will make you resent what you work with, even if you liked it before.

HEY SO ABOUT THAT ✨LORE✨ I PROMISED

...theres not a lot rn but i do want to talk abt an older oc im starting to develop a bit.

this is Mirran! hes a Dark Matter who lives in the Mirror World, and hes the leader of the "Valkyrie Project", which is basically the task force dedicated to saving the ruined planet of Mirror Popstar.

hes capable of utilizing mirrors for mischief and spying on others, as he can enter any mirror as an independent reflection of you. hes also able to control your movements if you look at him in yhe mirror, but he doesn't use this a lot due to its potential. of course, he possesses the Mirror ability's capability of illusory duplicates, projectile reflecting, etc.

many rumors of varying descriptions and accuracy surround him, but one thing is for certain: hes got his eye on everyone.

1. Does Wakana have a favorite childhood dish, if so what is it?

Wakana's favorite childhood dish… ooh, I've actually never thought about this. I think she'd have a very strong nostalgia for Rektun's homemade pies, particularly those of pumpkin, blueberry, or strawberry flavor. (Rektun had to learn to cook well because of Elise's abnormally long disappearance, so he's actually quite a good chef all things considered!)

If by "unconventional animals" we're talking about animals we'd find here on earth, I think her favorite would probably be the star-nosed mole. (idk tbh i had to look up a list myself LOL) However, if we're talking about in-universe animals… I wouldn't have an answer because I don't really have non-sentient animals developed yet outside of a few examples.

Does Arcline's beetle like headgear also work as a lightning rod or it can only shoot out electricity ?

How long are the bones spikes able to be on Tick? Are they able to be broken off too?

I'd imagine it'd function quite well as a lightning rod, especially when Arcline is running low on electricity.

The bone-spikes on Tick can theoretically grow indefinitely, but past a certain point they're too cumbersome for him to have on him. He regularly breaks them off for combat usage, partly because he doesn't want them to be so heavy on him.

TIME FOR YOUR WEEKLY RANDOM QUESTIONS ABIUT YOUR FCS THAT I TOTALLY DIDNT ALMOST MISSED TWO WEEKS WORTH SO IM ASKING 4

1- Whats the estimated amount of monitors Worm has?

2- What type of plants does Rosine have in her garden?

3- which weapon does Lance have the most knowledge on?

4- what would happen if Itzal's scarf were to be ripped?

I'd say the hoarder has at least 50 different monitors, probably with an upper limit of 100 for now. Worm loves his tech and tends to use the flatter monitors he has in a specific room not only to keep track of multiple hacking targets at once, but also to intimidate if anyone confronts him in there.

Rosine mostly has smaller flowering plants. I still have to work out the flora of my AU but the biggest plant she owns is a rare tree: the Pink Star Blossom! She also has an affinity for insects and is extremely careful not to hurt them, especially when they're drawing nectar from her flowers.

Lance knows a lot of things about a lot of weapons. However, since there's so many variants of each weapon out there (for example, a variant of a hammer is the rocket hammer, which individuals like Kymera use) it's hard to place a definitive answer on what weapon he knows the most about, but I can tell you which he's the most skilled with: his own spikes! (As for actual weapons you hold with your hands, he prefers swords the most since they're the most similar to his own powers.)

Itzal's scarf is magically enchanted to be resistant to attempts to rip it apart. If you somehow do manage to tear it, though, a powerful explosion of dark energy will erupt from the tear. It will regenerate fairly quickly (again due to magical enchantments), but the explosion deals massive damage to both Itzal and whoever tore the scarf if they're in range.

Blot would drive the GUN Truck from Sonic Generations. The one with the sawblades. He's a menace to society.

RAVE's favorite music genre? Probably DNB or Dubstep.

Questions about Sinstra and Destra

My question on Sinstra are on whether or not the copies look exactly like him or do they have subtle changes? Is Destra able to do something among the sorts too :]?

for Sinistra: the clones look exactly like him! the only difference is that theyre vastly less defensive than the real one.

for Destra: i'd say he is able to do the same thing, though his clones would have a more space-like aesthetic to them.

Which percent of your fcs would survive parkour civilization?

Who are the top 3 fails

aside from the ones capable of flight, levitation, etc., which is a pretty large amount, i honestly think a pretty good chunk would survive both jumps

as for those who wouldnt, Dr. Pitaya stands out as a candidate for least likely to live since shes not a fighter at all and therefore is very unathletic lmfao.

i honestly think picking a top 3 fails would be hard though since i have so many ocs LMAO. i have tons of candidates though but id have to compile that list later

ive been having tons of fun developing Parallel Popstar's Void Corruption lately so heres a lil something i made recently for that: the Void Golem! it's a parasitic Void Beast called a Void Hijacker, and they are about the size of a regular Puffball. one of them took control of a huge statue of the previous queen, Axis.

related side note but the "Parallel" bosses from Kirby Star Allies also exist in my au:

Parallel Woods is the Void Arbor, a titanic tree that is capable of controlling the bizarre plant life of the Void.

Parallel Kracko is the Void Storm, a gargantuan and unpredictable weather system that causes havoc for those who linger uninvited in the Void for too long.

Parallel Meta Knight is the Void Blade, a small but incredibly powerful and ruthless swordfighter that can conjure up terrifyingly dangerous blizzards.

Parallel Dedede is the Void King, but despite that title it offers more of a support role, powering up Void Beasts around itself and occasionally crushing those near it with its huge hammer.

all of these ultimately serve Parallel Null, an entity so thoroughly corrupted by the Void that nothing of its old self remains. despite its extremely violent and animalistic disposition, its "Four Horsemen" (as called by the deities) protect it fiercely.

one more thing while im kind of on the topic: succumbing to the Void Corruption is an extremely slow and painful process. as for what exactly happens, i dont have any idea yet, but i do know that those suffering from it eventually become hyper-aggressive towards everyone. the worst part is that in its early stages it is VERY ADDICTIVE, similar to smoking.

powers in my au are unique in that the users are *not* always protected from their own powers. yes elemental weaknesses and resistances do exist like pokemon types, but someone who uses fire powers can still be burned by their own fire if theyre not careful. electricity users can still be partially or fully paralyzed (though such cases are rare especially compared to other incidents), light users can blind themselves, etc.

the only way to prevent these injuries is by becoming a Lord, which means you need to constantly train with your powers to master them completely. theres only two Lords on my roster atm, being Glimmer and Dustbowl, masters of their Light and Earth powers respectively.

his boyfriend is Doodle, he used to be part of a violent rebel faction from the underworld led by Parch before meeting Doodle, hes skilled with using dark magic and his axe... thats really all i got for sure atm but ty for asking!

fun Nova fact: once Wakana and Nova became lovers, Nova actually became *more* lifelike than she was originally. before that day she used to just "sleep" (charge) in the lobby in the hospital she works at and rely on other workers to wake her up, but after she learned what love is, she started spending way more time with Wakana, even including charging her batteries next to her nearly every night she could.

other fun Nova fact: she can technically run without battery power, but her functions are massively reduced (and she feels the robot equivalent of sleep-deprived for a few days). not even her hands will work if she doesnt keep herself charged!

her batteries last 48 hours on average, by the way. she starts becoming "tired" past the twelve hour mark.

...i should develop robots as a whole in my au as well...

something about one of the ocs i posted in my last post, Vodi: hes a "defective" Void Beast.

Void Beasts are typically violent entities that randomly spawn from the half of Parallel Popstar that is completely covered in the dangerous Void Corruption. theyre typically Void Sentinels, which are only the weakest beasts (yet still very powerful), but stronger ones do exist.

Vodi is the weird exception. hes incapable of many things Void Beasts are, like spreading the Corruption. on the other hand he is able to speak without a mouth and has crazy shapeshifting abilities.

its unclear what causes defects in Void Beasts, but its theorized it has to do with distance from the source of the Corruption: the further away, the more likely beasts are defective. Vodi just happens to be a much more extreme example of one who actually helps Parallel Popstar's heroes out as well!

my main oc Wakana is Autistic and ADHD, like me! though there are some differences of course, like how Wakana is more forgetful of mundane stuff. shes good at remembering her phone, yes, but she often forgets to charge it when needed. she also forgets obligations somewhat often, unless its a tournament shes attending. i still have to work out details on how she responds to these though!
