Bit late to the party but my view for Jannik saying carlos/novak is the best rivalry at the moment probably came from the inferiority he felt and carried for so long. Iirc he used to not even follow carlos on twt back then. Only recently when he achieved a lot of things he started following carlos. He altered the attention carlos gave him away, he always puts carlos in the conversation, never himself. As if he cannot see himself as the best/worst possible match up for carlos. Plus the loss streak helped fuelling the fire too ig. My 2cents but even if he is the world number one, as long as he feel like he cannot overcome carlos in a lot of aspects, he will unfortunately, put carlos and carlos only in the conversation. Anyone but himself.
Oscar being an Alcaraz reply guy was not on my 2024 bingo card. I'm expecting him to go to the next Australian Open to see his favourite Carlos 😂
